Today’s Super Mario Maker #39: Twilight Princess Event Course and costume

Super Mario Maker came out last year in Japan, Europe and North America, but Nintendo is still going with its Today’s Super Mario Maker series. Right now, it’s the new Event Courses (and special costumes that come with them) which are highlighted!

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD comes out this Friday in Europe and North America (next week in Japan), so what better way than a special Event Course and costume in Super Mario Maker to celebrate?

A few days ago, we learned that tapping the Wolf Link amiibo would unlock a costume in the game. And today, Nintendo confirmed that there would also be an Event Course. That way, even if you do not own the Wolf Link amiibo, you will be able to get the special costume for Mario.

In Japan, the Event Course for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will be released on March 10th, at:

  • Japan: 10AM
  • Europe: 2AM
  • UK: 1AM
  • North America (ET): 8PM
  • North America (PT): 5PM

It’s pretty likely Europe and North America will get it on the same day as The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. In other words: this Friday!

Here’s a video showcasing the Wolf Link costume, which comes with voice effects and an end-of-level jingle:
