Due to vulnerabilities impacting online play in Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon on Wii U, online play for those two titles has been disabled (Error code: 106-0811). Unfortunately, it’s not clear when service will resume, as Nintendo warns that this emergency maintenance is expected to last a long time.
The Nintendo eShop was discontinued on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U on March 27th 2023. Download Codes can be redeemed until April 4th 2023. Check out this page for more details (including games and services impacted, such as Pokémon Bank and Fire Emblem Fates (digital))!
