Event Chip Exchange Opens!

 

The exchange will open on March 17th at 15:00 JST, where you can exchange “Event Chips” obtained at Monster Colosseum and other places for rare items.
Clear the event and collect lots of Event Chips!

New features

• Cross-save function is now supported, allowing data to be transferred between platforms.

• Auto-save has been implemented.
  
  • You can now continue from where you left off even if you are forced to quit during your adventure.

Fixes and Improvements

• The matching target for the Battle Tower has been changed from “players on the floor you are on and one floor above or below” to ” players on the floor you are on and above.”
• Lottery Tickets are no longer sold in shops.
  
  • From now on, Lottery Tickets will be available as an event item.
    
  • With the sale of Lottery Tickets stopped, you can now use Jewels directly at the Lucky Draw Shop to spin the Lucky Draw.
• The probability of winning a Lucky Draw is now displayed.
• The rental NPC, Voccho’s “Steal Voucher” ability will now be successful even if all monsters have fled.
• The effect of the monster’s voucher has been added to its description.
• When trying to sell an item at the Resale Shop, etc., if it is currently equipped, it will now tell you where it is equipped.
• Characters have been placed in shops to explain item effects, etc.
• A character has been placed on Main Stage 1 to explain about battles.
• The description for “B Dash Boost” has been changed to make it easier to understand.

The following problems will be fixed by the update 

Denpa Men Box

• An error may occur when using the search function to switch between Denpa Men in your party.
• Sometimes items may overlap during interaction.

 

Denpa Men Catch

• Sometimes the stats of the event catch Denpa Men differs from the stats in the Denpa Men Box.

 

Menu

• In certain situations, the number of items held may exceed 99, causing problems.
• The new arrival mark in the Present Box reverts when the software is restarted.
• When on the Voucher Collection screen, the cursor moves awkwardly.
• Opening the payout table for double-down slots displays the slot screen
  • →Changed to “Rules” instead of payout table

 

Decor

• When placing 20 Treasure Chests or Coin Boxes and then selecting “Put Away” and then “Place”, a data inconsistency error may occur.
• The collision detection for some decors is larger than it appears.

 

Adventure

• A poisoned Denpa Man  will not take poison damage even when stepping into a poisonous swamp.
• When casting a fishing rod in “Fishing Challenge!”, the remaining time is not displayed.
• The decision to change which monsters appear depending on the party’s level has been made so that NPCs are not included.

 

Battle

• APs of rental NPCs, Parala and Sleemy were not consumed.
• When “Protect” is activated, battle performance may be strange.
• Equipment effect “Guard” does not activate when “Protect” is activated.
• Fixed to prevent preemptive action when the monster level is certain levels lower than the party’s average.
• Fixed bugs in monster battle effects.

 

Items

• Fixed the effect when the following series where equipped Blaze, Glacier, Tornado, Gaia, Bolt, Tidal, Holy, Darkness

 

Others

• Fixed defective text and English translations.
• Small corrections and adjustments.

Ver. 4.0.10

• We have confirmed a bug in Ver. 4.0.0 where an error occurs when trying to exchange Jewel Pieces for Jewels.
  
  • We have taken measures to temporarily suspend the Jewel Piece exchange shop in the 4.0.10 update scheduled for March 10th, 11:00 JST. If you have Jewel Pieces, we ask that you exchange them before the Ver. 4.0.10 update on March 10th. We are currently working on an update to fix this bug.

Event Stage ”Phantom Emperor’s Cave” appears for the 2nd time!

 

The event is planned to be held on Jan. 10, 15:00 JST.

The following adjustments will be made.

• The number of times you can play will increase from 3 to 5.
• Monster levels in the second half will be lowered by 1-20, and some of their attacks will be weakened.
  • ※Due to the adjustment, some vouchers will be weakened as well.
• Some monsters will gain more damage when attacked by their weak element.
• Pitfalls will be removed.

New Boost Items will appear.

• Boosts that will increase Stats. such as “Attack+20.”
• A boost that lets you move faster around the stage, “B dash.”

These items can be obtained in new event stages and more.

The following will also be updated

• You will be able to receive login bonuses even when inside island facilities.
• You will be albe to fast-forward messages with the X button.
• Denpa Men who have been assigned a house will always appear in their home.
• The room switching button on the Denpa Men Box will be easier to understand.
• The NPC Rental pricing display will be aligned with other shops.
• When Happiness is maxed, you will only be able to give 1 item at a time in “Interact”.
• Regulations will be changed too improve matchmaking for the Battle Tower Thursday Tournament.
  • The highest floor will be 33.
  • You will move up to a higher floor after 3 wins.
• The difficulty of Main Stage 1~4 will be adjusted.

The following problems will be fixed by the update 

Denpa Men Catch

• The screen goes black when there is a problem with the device’s gyro function.
• During Normal Catch or Together Catch, the Denpa Men may not change even if you move to another location.
• An unnecessary message appears when the event end during Event Catch.

Battle

• Jesson and Denpa Men sometimes “Protect”s at the same time.
• Some monsters’ skill animations and effects are out of sync.
• When in both reflection and invincible states, attacks do not reflect when received.
• The head of floating Denpa Men sometimes becomes unintended.
• An invalid effect is set for “Dark Shaman Voucher.”
  • →An effective skill will be set.
• When performing consecutive attacks with multiple targets, the attack does not hit consecutively if you defeat the first enemy on the first hit.
• Denpa Men sometimes appear as just their clothes.
• When Denpa Men are defeated while protecting an ally, sometimes they are not displayed as out of combat.
• In the “Trial Tower”, ”Rook” sometimes doesn’t go out of combat and remains when it falls protecting “Queen.”
• The action and AP consumption when using a skill multiple times does not match.
  
  • → AP will be consumed for each action taken.

Battle Tower

• Sometimes the NPC icons are displayed unintendedly on the participation status screen.
• Error code: 50413003 occurs and the game becomes unplayable
• Opponent’s “Ghost”, “Reflection”, “Invincible”, and “Auto Defense” were not activated.

Menu

• In the equipment menu during exploration, NPCs may have a birth mark.
• In the Spirit Shrine, the birth mark may become unintended.
• “Face” equipment may be displayed on the equipment screen.
• User ID may be hidden on the profile screen, depending on the Denpa Men’s equipment.
• You cannot see how many jewels are needed to expand the island at the Realtor, when you have less than 3 jewels.
  • → Added information on the text when expanding.
• The item display becomes unintended when using “Interact.”
• In the decor item list, the cursor position shifts when opening and closing the menu after changing the order.

Others

• Sometimes the party gets stuck between two NPCs and can’t move.
• The display delays when communication delay occurs when placing a decor or planting a seed.
• “Touch” doesn’t appear when approaching a “Trophy” decor.
• When placing wall hangings in succession, they sometimes get embedded in the wall.
• Fish sometimes stop appearing on your island.
• Bugs that crashes the game.

The next Battle Tower will be held 10/12 15:00 JST. From then on, Battle Tower will be held regularly on the following schedule.

• Denpa Men with unexpectedly high levels appear in Rare Catch.

Fixing Defects 

Denpa Men Catch

• The screen is dark even after starting Denpa Men Catch.
• In Offline Catch, the game sometimes ends even though there is still space available.
• In Denpa Men Catch, the catch is made in an empty space.

 

Operation in the island

• When you enter your own island from the title screen, you may not be able to operate the game.
• When placing or storing (harvesting) decorations or plants, an error message is displayed.
• The game is forcefully terminated when all decorations are sold after the tabs in the Decorate menu are set to a specific state.
• After placing 256 or more exteriors, when a Boombox is placed and operated, the background music does not sound.
• An error message may appear when touching the decorations after they have been placed on the island.
• Residents sometimes sit on decorations or chairs even if the objects are placed on top of them.
• Denpa Men standing on plants or tiles cannot be talked to.
• When canceling to put away dead plants, the operation is frozen for a while.
• When you release the state of having an exterior with Harbor, you cannot exit from the destination selection menu.
• The login may not be performed when the Harbor menu is open at 15:00.
• In the boost selection screen of Harbor, certain operations may prevent the selection of boosts.

 

Denpa Men Box

• The game sometimes forcefully quits during operation in Denpa Men Box.
• The detail display (X button) of the Denpa Men in Denpa Men Box is not correct.
• When moving a Denpa Men in Denpa Men Box, the Denpa Men you are operating is buried by the Denpa Men waiting below.
• When switching characters with LR in Contact screen while the Happiness is rising, the Happiness value remains displayed, but the value appears larger or smaller.
• In some cases, the description of an item that is not in the list is displayed when the X Item/Fish tab is opened and the item is selected on the Contact screen.

 

Menu Operation

• The number of equipment possessed has somehow increased, and an error message is displayed when equipping.
• The game sometimes forcefully quits while editing in Equip Change screen.
• When a gap is opened in a player party, equipment and equipment effect become strange.
• New arrival mark in the “Menu>Present” is displayed when the application is re-launched even after receiving all items.
• The menu is sometimes garbled and force-closed.
• When the cursor is placed on any equipment in the Shop screen, the equipment preview is hidden when the switch button (X/Y) is pressed immediately after the directional key is entered.
• In the island expansion, there is an error in the description of Realtor
  • Incorrect: 5×5 squares will be added in the first level.
    
  • Correct: Each stage adds two or more 5×5 squares of open space.
• New arrival mark may be added to the already read Notices.

 

Birth

• When a Birth takes place, the physique and Evasion of the Denpa Men with the earlier Found date are inherited.
• When Births are performed, some combinations are not born with their original physique and abilities.
• The antenna of Denpa Men is shown as “Antenna Root” in the text at birth, but the antenna of Denpa Men is shown after growth.
  
  • Correctly, the menu shows the antenna name after growth, and Denpa Men’s antenna is “Antenna Root”.

 

Adventures and battles

• Some Voucher techniques are not properly staged or effective.
• When the party and the opponent are annihilated at the same time in a battle and the player continues, the game starts with no enemies.
• When a monster is wiped out by a multiple-attack equipment, if there is a radio man with an attack turn left, he may attack a monster that has already been defeated.
• In the “Thunder Trial of the Beginner,” the viewpoint does not change by certain operations when the viewpoint is from directly above the B2F.
• In the “Ice Trial of the Beginner” stage, there is a place where progress becomes impossible due to the ice floor.

 

Adjustments and changes, etc.

 

• The system of The Denpa Men appearing in Rare Catch has been reviewed.
  • Please note that The Denpa Men that appear in Rare Catch will change after the update.
• Catch mode is now easier to operate with the controller.
• You can now save any time by pressing the + button on your island.
• Also, you can return to the Title at that time.
• The item “Stamina ∞ ” no longer activates automatically, but now activates when the player tries to use stamina.
• It is now easier to tell whether store items are priced in gold or jewels.
• It is now easier to see whether or not there is a replenishment for items in stock in the shop.

Fixing Defects

• Sometimes, the rewards are not given even though the Voucher collection is complete.
  
  • With this update, you will be able to receive the rewards that you were not receiving.
• During the adventure, a communication error occurs and you are sent back to the island or the software quits.
• When updating resources during play, a communication error is displayed and cannot be restored until restarting.
• If the fruit is harvested just before it is ripe and then re-seeded and watered, a communication error occurs and the user is returned to the title.
• It is possible to slip through the terrain of the world map in a stage and walk over rivers, oceans, etc.
• When the user starts Together Catch, an error occurs and the software is forced to terminate.
• The software is forcefully terminated when performing Decorate operations under poor communication conditions.
• Togethet Catch is terminated too soon.
• If you interrupt the third part of the study of knowledge and then resume it, the door won’t open and you won’t be able to progress.

• The following bugs have been fixed:
  • In main stage 10, after retiring from a study of knowledge and returning to your island, the items purchased in the shop are missing.
    We will be taking further steps to compensate for items and other items lost as a result of this disruption.
  • In Wind Trial of  the Master, after defeating Tyboon in the replay after clearing the stage, the stage cannot be progressed.
  • In Thunder Trial of the Master, when on a certain directional board, you hit an object and get stuck.

• Known issues:

• We have identified a technical issue that causes an error message to appear when users receive update instructions during gameplay and follow the instructions to update.
  • Should this message appear, we kindly request that you restart the game.
    
  • We anticipate resolving this issue in the near future.

How to download updates for The New Denpa Men for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for The New Denpa Men, you have three options:

• let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

• try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

• select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
