Splatoon 3: Drizzle Season 2023 to kick off on September 1st, Deep Cut amiibo announced, more

In just a couple of weeks (on September 1st to be precise), the next Splatoon 3 Season will kick off: Drizzle Season 2023. As with previous Seasons, this one will bring new and returning stages, new Main Weapons (along with new variants of existing Weapons), new Gear, new Music, and more.

Drizzle Season 2023 will bring the following to Splatoon 3:

  • New Stages: Crableg Capital, Shipshape Cargo Co.
  • New Salmon Run Stages: Salmonid Smokeyard (returning)
  • New Main Weapons: Dread Wringer, Heavy Edit Splatling
  • New Gear
  • New Work Suits (Salmon Run)
  • New Table Turf War cards
  • New Challenges: Inkkets for Everyone, Swim It to Win It, Modded Rainmaker Test-Fire

And that’s not all: Nintendo also announced that new amiibo will be released on November 17th worldwide. This time, it’s Shiver, Frye, and Big Man from Deep Cut who get their own figures!

Speaking of Deep Cut, the next Splatfest will be about them! Who would be the best leader? Shiver, Frye, or Big Man? Get ready to settle the question in court in Splatoon 3 from August 8th to August 11th (check out this page for all the details!).

Also, the next Big Run will take place from September 1st to September 4th.

Finally, to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the game, players will be able to get special Splashtag designs featuring the three members of Deep Cut after updating to Ver. 5.0.0 (or more recent). Those will be available via a Nintendo Switch News post from the Squid Research Lab.
