- To play these new rules, select the Special tab on the World selection screen in Single Player Adventure.
- Added a new ultra-high difficulty world, Ultimate World (20 stages in total), to Adventure.
- Added an ultra-high difficulty mission, Expert Mission, to Battle.
- Added a new ruleset, Super Punchy Brawl, to Battle.
- Added a Banana Hunt Stage called KALEIDOSLOPE to Battle.
- In Adventure, added a Quick Retry function that allows the player to immediately restart a stage by tapping a button. (Hold L+R+A to activate)
- In Play with Friends in Adventure, it is now possible to play across multiple Worlds.
- In Adventure Multiplayer, added a button to view the character selection screen before choosing a World.
- In Battle Random People, added a button to view the character selection screen while matching.
- Added the ability to purchase multiple items at once in the Shop.
- In the character selection screen, added a button to randomly choose a character.
- Added an option to change the text color of player names during gameplay.
- Added a display on the loading screen before Battle matches begin alerting players of the rules.
- Added support for additional content.
- Added functionality to allow for save data transfer from the demo version.
- Please note that some data saved in the demo version cannot be transferred, such as Time Attack data, replays, etc.
- Fixed a bug that caused the character to change to AiAi when returning to the main menu after playing the Tutorial.
- In Adventure during Local Multiplayer, the accuracy of clear times has been improved.
- In the Adventure stage MANHOLE, fixed an issue in which the manhole moved significantly faster when each player pushed it simultaneously during multiplayer.
- Additionally, resolved a bug that made it appear as if the goal has been reachged from the perspective of other players when it actually had not.
- In the Adventure stage BALLS ON SEESAWS, fixed an issue during multiplayer in which the seesaw would begin to tilt on its own.
- In Battle Random People, resolved in an issue in which battle points could not be earned when a communication error occurs during the transition from the end of the game to the results screen.
- Resolved a problem in Battle’s Race mode in which checkpoints sometimes did not respond properly when passed through at high speed.
- In Battle’s Race mode, made minor adjustments to the stage geometry and appearance of COOKIE CIRCUIT and RUSTIC TEMPLE.
- In Battle’s Gem Heist mode, fixed an issue in which receiving an item while picking up a gem caused the player to drop the gem.
- In Battle, adjusted the ease at which the Item Gauge fills depending on each player’s standing in the match.
- Fixed a problem in Battle in which a crown was displayed when the battle item Stealth was used.
- In Battle, fixed an issue in which the battle item Black Hole became buried within the stage.

- Updated the game with special stage and banana-themed designs as well as limited-edition style items as part of the Dole collaboration.
- Added Gem Heist, a new Battle Mode game.
- Added an option to view the players behind you during Battle Mode.
- Made improvements to matchmaking for Battle Random People
- Tweaked the layouts and visuals of the Race Mode stages Cookie Circuit, Rose Tower, and Farm Frenzy.
- Enabled the option to customize your Chat Wheel on the mode selection screen when battling with friends online or via local communication.

- Fixed features affected by the Ver. 1.11 update’s framerate adjustments—the camera sensitivity settings, conveyor belt movement, and seesaw physics are now consistent with their behavior during Ver. 1.10.
- Corrected issues related to replays and ghosts created in previous versions.

How to download updates for Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble for the Nintendo Switch?
To download the updates for Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
