easons Greedings

Larfleeze is back! Find and recover the stolen gifts in Metropolis and Gotham City before it’s too late! Look for “Yuletide Fear” (Villains) or “Winter Plunderland” (Heroes) in your Mission Journal. Or alternatively you can now use the Warp Menu to head directly to The House of Legends by selecting Season’s Greedings: Hal Jordan (Hero) or Season’s Greedings: Sinestro (Villain). There are also wondrous new feats to be found, along with style items and accessories to be earned!

Larfleeze’s greed can’t be satisfied so he is taking advantage of a heated battle between the Green Lanterns and the Sinestro Corps. Look for “Ring in the Holidays” in your Mission Journal. Players must complete “Yuletide Fear” or “Winter Plunderland” and “Season’s Greedings” in order to receive the “Ring in the Holidays” Daily Mission. Each day of the event, look for “Season’s Greedings” and “Ring in the Holidays” in your Mission Journal to complete the mission and earn Holly Leaves.

Tactical Mods

Gain the upper hand in combat by equipping your gear with NEW Ultimate Series Tactical Mods – now available in the ‘Upgrades’ category in the Marketplace!
In celebration of these glorious new mods, one of each type of new Tactical Mod will be granted to all players for FREE (once per account, must be level 10 or higher)!

Tactical Mods are items with special buffs that need to be activated by inserting directly into your gear. These Mods can be slotted and will function even without any Tactical Mod Base Mainframe upgrades.

General

• Bases – Fixed an issue where base pets could be placed inside of walls, potentially falling out of the world.
• Xbox One Only – UI: Character Create: If a character name longer than 20 letters is entered with the virtual keyboard, it will be truncated down to 20 letters
• PC Only – Some players will have their Visual C++ Redistributable updated on launch, if yours is out of date.
• Broker: Fixed an issue where “Catalyst (Augment)” and “Catalyst (Omnipotence)” items did not fall under the Fortify->Catalysts category.

Red Tornado has sent you this defense module to help you protect your team!

Redirect damage dealt to another Tank in your group to yourself and use it to generate a powerful tornado that damages your enemies and heals you and the protected Tank.

Players will be given the Artifact upon meeting these requirements:

• Completed Brainiac Returns Part 1
• Completed Artifacts mission
• Character has the Tank Role

Sunstone Fortress Base
Embrace solitude with the Sunstone Fortress Base! Includes:

• 1 Sunstone Fortress Base Theme (per character, not tradable, requires level 8 to use)
• 1 Sunstone Fortress Decor Pack (per character, granted once the theme is used)
• Matching Kryptonian Back-Up/Henchmen (available from the base Dispenser)
• Matching Sunstone Hardware and Amenities

When purchased, find in the Redeem/Claim window in the Marketplace.

This Base Theme is not affected by changes made to the Color Menu in Decoration Mode. Placed base items can still be adjusted via the Color Menu in Decoration Mode.

Note: PvP is not allowed in this base.

Skip to 368

• Combat Rating for Skip to CR 368 Tank Gear Box now gives the correct gear.
• DPS, Healer & Controller Gear item levels increased to a mixture of 321 and 320 to correctly give the player a Combat Rating of 368.

Known Issue

• Players that opened the Tank Gear Box the first day and didn’t receive the correct gear will receive a replacement gear box soon to fix them up.

ATTACK OF THE ANTI-MONITOR ANNIVERSARY EVENT 2024

The anniversary event is back, featuring open world missions, the Centennial Collapse Raid, the Speed Force Flux Raid, and A World Past Hope and Fear Solo.

Open your Mission Journal and look for “Monitoring the Situation,” queue up for events in the On Duty menu, or use the Warp Menu to go directly to the Metropolis Anti-Matter Invasion Zone

Homecoming: Party at Titans Tower

Starfire had invited you to the Homecoming Party that the rest of the Titans are throwing for her, but now Cyborg is calling asking for help dealing with reported security issues that’ve come up at the party in Titan’s Tower.

The fight to save Starfire’s Homecoming just needs the life of the party: you! Save Titans Tower from Blackfire’s party-crashing antics and kick back with some fun and games! The Homecoming event arrives with new Base Items, Feats, Styles and Emote. Collect Prize Tickets and visit the Homecoming Vendor in the House of Legends for the latest rewards. Prize Tickets allow you to purchase Homecoming seasonal rewards or other advanced items from seasonal in-game vendors and is available to use only during the event.

• Fixed a bug causing players to get too many loot choices from certain Episode 40 and 42 bosses

• Summon him during combat to cut down your enemies with sweeping beams of energy
• Use his Aggression Motivator ability to mark a target for you and your group members, receiving either a heal, power boost, or supercharge boost when you attack the target
• Use his Infiltrator Mode to increase your Critical Weapon Chance when using a Weapon Buff ability

Save the Universe

• Large Loot Cache now drops gear with Episode 45 item levels for players with CR 385 or greater
• 2-player: Raising Hades: Fixed an issue where the waypoints in the first boss battle did not spawn correctly
• Save the Universe gear is now properly discounted for players who have completed the feats, Dark Multiverse Defender, Multiversity Alumni, and Captain of the Ultima Thule

Valentine’s Day Seasonal Event: Love Conquers All

Enter the Tunnel of Love in 2023 with new Base Items, Feats and Styles!

The Star Sapphires are again making an effort to rekindle the love lost in Gotham City. Mister Freeze knows what the Zamaron crystals are capable of and has hatched a plan to bring his wife Nora back by integrating their crystals into his cryogenic technology. This misuse of the crystals is extremely dangerous and could cause an exothermic reaction that would destroy the entire city! Check the Events tab in the On Duty menu for “Love’s Battlefield” to aid the Star Sapphires (Heroes) or Mister Freeze (Villains).

Open your map and choose the Love is in the Air destination. Speak to Hal Jordan (Heroes) or Mister Freeze (Villains) in the House of Legends. This mission can also be picked up at a terminal in Northeast Metropolis near Union Station.

Also make sure to speak with Mera, who is spending Valentine’s Day on dryland apart from her dearest love. Open your Mission Journal and track “Sea of Love” to find her! And don’t forget to visit the Valentine’s Vendor to get seasonal clothing, candies, and base items!

All hell has broken loose in the streets of Gotham City and inside The Midnight Masquerade Nightclub! Go to the House of Legends and speak to the Phantom Stranger (Heroes) or to Tala (Villains) to receive further instructions. To queue for “The Midnight Masquerade,” go into your On Duty UI and look under the Events Tab.

Travel to the House of Legends and take flight in the “Multiplayer Aerial Movement Challenge: Flapping in the Night”. You’ll be transformed into a vampire bat, and race around Arkham Asylum!

Survival Mode Season 3

Queue up for Titan’s Training Sim in the Events tab to challenge yourself against the most difficult battles DCUO has ever seen. 30 rounds of challenge await, if you can survive. Each round consists of two waves of minions and one boss at the end of the waves.

Earn Auras, Style Items, Pets, Orbitals, and Henchmen. Earn Data Chips after defeating each boss. Every 5 rounds will increase the amount of Data Chips awarded from bosses. This currency can be used at both the Survival Mode Vendor and the Survival Mode Season Vendor for unique item rewards.

Season 3 is extra special in that it is the first-ever 6-person group content. What new strategies await?

New Feature: Base Item Vendor

Cheetah has taken residence in the Living Quarters section of the House of Legends, near John Stewart. At this time, she will sell Episode 42 base items and is also the one stop shop for vendor-bought base items from Episode 30 to now.

Feature Update: Omnibus & Early End Game

To further address feedback on stat scaling in the Omnibus, we’ve taken the following additional measures:

• Normal mode EEG now has full stat piercing, which was formerly only reserved for Elite mode EEG.
• Elite mode EEG now scales players down to +20 Combat Rating (up from +15).
• Players being scaled up in Elite Mode EEG are now scaled an additional +10 Combat Rating.
• Elite mode EEG now has the Early End Game buff. Unlike in Normal mode, players get full access to the buff, without any requirements on their team.
• Down-scaled Combat Rating was fixed for Tier 6 (the latest) EEG content: it is now 337 for non-Elite mode content and 342 for Elite mode content.
• Reduced the jump in Combat Rating between bosses to just +2 in Elite mode EEG. This includes reducing the starting NPC level for Elite content with fewer than 3 bosses, such as Fractured God Sphere in Tier 6.
• Down-scaled players in Elite mode EEG may now block to heal.

New Feature: Trinket Base Dispenser

With this requested feature, you will be able to store your Orbital Strike, Supply Drop, Sidekick, and Henchmen trinkets in your Base Dispenser. Inventories rejoice!

• NOTE: Any existing trinket of the types listed above must be equipped (again or for the first time) after today’s update for it to appear in the new system. That allows the Base Dispenser to know you own this item.
• If there was a feat attached to the item and you have previously deleted the item after obtaining the feat, you will automatically see that item in your Dispenser, too.
• The items you get from the Dispenser function the same but are technically new items that do not count towards feats AND are now account bound, so you can obtain and pass along the trinkets to your alts.
• Moving forward, any new trinket you obtain, once you equip it and get the bind on equip prompt, will automatically qualify to appear in your Dispenser.

Valentine’s Day Seasonal Event: Love Conquers All

Enter the Tunnel of Love in 2022 with new Base Items, Feats and Styles!

The Star Sapphires are again making an effort to rekindle the love lost in Gotham City. Mister Freeze knows what the Zamaron crystals are capable of and has hatched a plan to bring his wife Nora back by integrating their crystals into his cryogenic technology. This misuse of the crystals is extremely dangerous and could cause an exothermic reaction that would destroy the entire city! Check the Events tab in the On Duty menu for “Love’s Battlefield” to aid the Star Sapphires (Heroes) or Mister Freeze (Villains).

Open your map and choose the Love is in the Air destination. Speak to Hal Jordan (Heroes) or Mister Freeze (Villains) in the House of Legends. While in the House of Legends, visit the heart next to Hal Jordan or the frozen heart next to Mister Freeze to pick up a Daily Valentine’s Race mission “Get Your Heart Racing”. This mission can also be picked up at a terminal in Northeast Metropolis near Union Station.

Also make sure to speak with Mera, who is spending Valentine’s Day on dryland apart from her dearest love. Open your Mission Journal and track “Sea of Love” to find her! And don’t forget to visit the Valentine’s Vendor to get seasonal clothing, candies, and base items!

Larfleeze is back! Find and recover the stolen gifts in Metropolis and Gotham City before it’s too late!

Look for “Yuletide Fear” (Villains) or “Winter Plunderland” (Heroes) in your Mission Journal, or use the Warp Menu to head directly to the House of Legends by selecting Season’s Greedings: Hal Jordan (Hero) or Season’s Greedings: Sinestro (Villain).

Then, Larfleeze’s greed still cannot be satisfied, so he is taking advantage of a heated battle between the Green Lanterns and the Sinestro Corps. Each day of the event, look for “Season’s Greedings” and “Ring in the Holidays” in your Mission Journal to complete the mission and earn Holly Leaves.

There are also wondrous new feats to be found, along with style items and accessories to be earned!

Early End Game Scaling and Buffs Updates

• Raised the stat ceiling for all tiers so that down-scaled players have a Combat Rating that is 15 higher than enemy NPCs (up from 10)
• Players who are being scaled down and use Omnibus will benefit more from the Early End Game Buff than those who Custom Play
  • Players who are being scaled down and use Custom Play will benefit fully from the Early End Game Buff IF at least half of the group is being scaled up
• Players being scaled up in On Duty content will benefit from a damage buff in 2 player, 4 player, and 8 player content
• Players being scaled up in On Duty content can block to heal if below 50% health
  • 1. This is similar to the benefit provided by the Roleless Buff (when the group didn’t have a healer)
• Players in elite versions of content have increased stat piercing when scaled down

Amazon Fury III

• A variant of the Zeus Lightning Bolt Back Style now drops at the Typhon encounter. This style has a Feat attached.

The Monitor calls all heroes and villains to his House of Legends to train, coordinate, and prepare for a looming multiversal threat. The House of Legends sits in The Bleed, a plane in between universes, where Tempus Fuginaut, Harbinger, and others from numerous universes watch over the multiverse.

Look for a wide array of useful and practical tools throughout the House of Legends, including the Orrery of Worlds to teleport you across dimensions, the Training Hall for peacefully practicing your combat skills, the Archives, and more.

• The House of Legends is a new hub or headquarters shared by both factions, an alternative to the Watchtower and the Hall of Doom
• Use the Orrery of Worlds teleporter to easily travel to all of the game’s open world zones.

New System: Omnibus

Get into DCUO in a whole new way with the Omnibus system. Play any content your character is eligible for, prior to our latest three episodes, for full rewards and without loot locks. Player stats will be scaled to appropriate levels for all Omnibus content.

• Omnibus Combat Rating requirements have been reorganized into tiers for simplicity and each tier will unlock in full at once
• Player stats will scale to about ten levels higher than NPCs in whichever instance
• Stats from Skill Points, Artifacts, Augments, Leagues, Generator Mods, and certain Movement Mode, Iconic, and Allies abilities will scale proportionally afterwards, which means increasing these will always add power to your character (even in Omnibus content)
• Missions in the Mission Journal have had their Combat Ratings/Levels updated to correspond to the new Tiers

Spring Seasonal Event

Spring is in the air! Poison Ivy is back to wreak havoc on the people of Gotham City! We’ve added four new Feats, new bee-themed Base items, chromas and style items.

Collect Seed Pods and purchase Spring items from “Arborist Louis” next to Swamp Thing in the Watchtower or “The Misgiving Tree” next to Poison Ivy in the Hall of Doom.

Villains can learn more about Poison Ivy’s plans by speaking to her in the Hall of Doom’s Pit, while Heroes can speak to Swamp Thing in the Watchtower’s Aquacultural Area to help bring down Ivy and her minions. Survival Mode Season 2

Queue up for Titan’s Training Sim in the Events tab to challenge yourself against the most difficult battles DCUO has ever seen. 30 rounds of challenge await, if you can survive. Each round consists of two waves of minions and one boss at the end of the waves.

Earn Materials, Auras, Base Items, Styles, Orbitals, and Pets. Earn Data Chips after defeating each boss. Every 5 rounds will increase the amount of Data Chips awarded from bosses. This currency can be used at both the Survival Mode Vendor and the Survival Mode Season Vendor for rewards.

Valentine’s Day Seasonal Event: Love Conquers All

Enter the Tunnel of Love in 2021 with new Base Items, Feats and Styles! The Star Sapphires are again making an effort to rekindle the love lost in Gotham City. Mister Freeze knows what the Zamaron crystals are capable of and has hatched a plan to bring his wife Nora back by integrating their crystals into his cryogenic technology. This misuse of the crystals is extremely dangerous and could cause an exothermic reaction that would destroy the entire city!

Check the Events tab in the On-Duty menu for “Love’s Battlefield” to aid the Star Sapphires (Heroes) or Mister Freeze (Villains).

Open your map and choose the Love is in the Air destination. Speak to Hal Jordan in the Gotham East End Police Station Safehouse (Heroes) or Mister Freeze in the Gotham North Burnley Nightclub Safehouse (Villains). While in the Safehouse visit the terminal next to Hal Jordan or Mister Freeze to pick up a Daily Valentine’s Race mission “Get Your Heart Racing”. This mission can also be picked up at a terminal in Northeast Metropolis near Union Station. 

Also make sure to speak with Mera, who is spending Valentine’s Day on dryland apart from her dearest love. Open your Mission Journal and track “Sea of Love” to find her!

And don’t forget to visit the Valentine’s Vendor to get seasonal clothing, candies, and base items! A Valentine’s Vendor is located in the East End Safehouse (Heroes)/North Burnley Nightclub (Villains) and inside Mister Freeze’s Laboratory.

The seasonal missions can be completed daily during the event and reset with replay badges.

The Violet Lantern Reward Box can drop from any instance boss in the game during the event, and gives a choice of the Violet Lantern Uplink Device or the Henchmen Uplink Device: Violet Lanterns.

With the Source Wall cracked, multiple universes are merging into our own. Along with the new threats also come new allies: the Council of Wonder Women! Take up arms with Nubia, Flashpoint Wonder Woman, Red Son Wonder Woman, and more, face the Olympian Gods and the New Gods, and restore order before it is too late.

Wonderverse features new daily and weekly Open World missions, raid-like world bosses, a brand-new Solo and Alert, as well as Normal and Elite versions of a new Raid! To play this content mode your character must be level 30 and have a minimum Combat Rating of 299.

For a limited time, special “Event” versions of all content for Wonderverse will be available to all players, level 10+ as well! Look for these Event versions in the Events tab of your On Duty menu.

 

New Open World Missions – Wonderverse: Patchwork Themyscira

A crack in the Source Wall merged together Themysciras of different Earths. As the wall crumbles further, fragments of the Source Wall rain down on the island, attracting multiple factions of invaders seeking to raid this new resource. Help all the Wonder Women repel the raiders and then take the fight to their leaders!

New Solo – Wonderverse: Temples of Source Power

Invading factions have noticed that fragments of that Source Wall are being attracted to places of power around Themyscira. Queue for or walk into 4 different Temples to help the different Wonder Women deny at least one invading faction per day.

New Alert – Wonderverse: Crypt of Penthesilea

Instead of turning over her share of Source Wall fragments to the rest of the Council of Wonder Women, Queen Diana has suspiciously sealed herself inside the Crypt of Penthesilea. Meet with Nubia to see if together you can convince Queen Diana to see reason.

New Raid and Elite Raid – Wonderverse: Fractured God Sphere

We’ve learned from Poseidon that the Sphere of the Gods is crumbling and the Gods themselves have been collecting Source Wall fragments to try and shore up their own power. The Council of Wonder Women know those fragments are necessary to repair the multiverse. Enter the God Sphere and reclaim the fragments for the greater good.

Metropolis descends into a battle royale after Lex Luthor broadcasts to the world that he’s leaving his wealth, technology, and weapons to anyone willing to take them. Crime is rampant and the Birds of Prey are on the case! Each of the Birds of Prey has a mission for players in the new open world. For example, Heroes will help Huntress fight crime while Villains partner with Catwoman for a piece of the action!

Nintendo Switch Small Install

As of today, the download required for DC Universe Online on Nintendo Switch is now substantially smaller (decreasing to about 16gb). Additionally, the game’s movies and motion comics will be removed from the initial download and made available separately in a free, optional Cinematics Pack DLC (about 2gb). 

Because this is an optimization adjustment to the base game, all players will be required to re-download the game. This can happen in two ways depending on where your specific space limitations.

• If you have installed DCUO onto an SD card with at least 12gb of available, free space, the game will automatically download a patch that will essentially reinstall the base game.
• If you have not installed DCUO onto an SD card or you do not have 12gb of free space, you will need to manually uninstall the game and then initiate the download for the new installation.

Why? Even though we are reducing the installation size dramatically, with the way NS patching works, the new patch must download completely before any changes can be made. This means you will need enough space for the current (large) installation and space for the new patch to patch automatically, which is significant since so many files are being changed.

When in doubt, the easiest way forward is to manually uninstall and then reinstall. We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope you will enjoy the free space.

Enter the Tunnel of Love in 2020 with new Base Items, Feats and Styles!

The Star Sapphires are again making an effort to rekindle the love lost in Gotham City. Mister Freeze knows what the Zamaron crystals are capable of and has hatched a plan to bring his wife Nora back by integrating their crystals into his cryogenic technology. This misuse of the crystals is extremely dangerous and could cause an exothermic reaction that would destroy the entire city! Check the Events tab in the On Duty menu for “Love’s Battlefield” to aid the Star Sapphires (Heroes) or Mister Freeze (Villains).

Open your map and choose the Love is in the Air destination. Speak to Hal Jordan in the Gotham East End Police Station Safehouse (Heroes) or Mister Freeze in the Gotham North Burnley Nightclub Safehouse (Villains). While in the Safehouse, visit the terminal next to Hal Jordan or Mister Freeze to pick up a Daily Valentine’s Race mission “Get Your Heart Racing”. This mission can also be picked up at a terminal in Northeast Metropolis near Union Station.

The seasonal missions can be completed daily during the event and reset with replay badges. Also make sure to speak with Mera, who is spending Valentine’s Day on dryland apart from her dearest love. Open your Mission Journal and track “Sea of Love” to find her!

And don’t forget to visit the Valentine’s Vendor to get seasonal clothing, candies, and base items! A Valentine’s Vendor is located in the East End Safehouse (Heroes)/North Burnley Nightclub (Villains) and inside Mister Freeze’s Laboratory.

 

Broker

• A selected item in the broker menu will remain highlighted until another item is selected.

Vendor

• Vendors will now display appropriate currencies without needing to select an item by default.

Combat

• Mind controlled players now properly animate when their character is knocked down.

New Episode: Metal Part II

Earth is sinking into the Dark Multiverse, Batman and Superman are missing, and the planet Thanagar has a world-destroying gun aimed at Earth. Team-up with Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, and Batman to battle the Dark Knights: twisted alternate versions of Batman!

Journey through Batman’s nightmares, Atlantis’ Silent School, and Oa’s Sciencells before diving headlong into the Forge of Worlds at the heart of the Dark Multiverse. Only you can save reality from crumbling, but first you must defeat Dawnbreaker, the Drowned, and the Bat God Barbatos, leader of the Dark Knights!

To play this content your character must be level 30 and have a minimum Combat Rating of 264.

For a limited time, special “Event” versions of all content in Metal Part II will be available to all players level 15+ as well! Look for these Event versions in the Events tab of your On Duty menu.

 

New Duo: Batscape

Players arrive to the Oblivion Bar, one of the few seemingly safe places left after the events of Metal Part I, under the pretense of meeting with the last of Earth’s resistance to decide how to respond to the Dark Knights and the sinking of our universe into the Dark Multiverse. Together, they will delve into the depths of Batman’s mind to free him from Barbatos’ influence.

New Open World Missions: Thanagar

Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, and Green Lantern T’Larto are coordinating efforts with the hawk planet’s authorities to push back the Dark Knights advance on Thanagar.

• Look for Thanagar in your warp menu or use the teleporter in the Watchtower or Hall of Doom
• New daily and weekly missions in Metal Gotham. Minimum Level: 15

New Alert: Damage Control

Batman knows what the Dark Knights are going to do next, because he knows how they think. The heroes and villains need to get to Atlantis and the Oan Sciencells to stop the Dark Knights. Dawnbreaker has taken over the Sciencells; freeing prisoners and sending them to the front lines on Thanagar. In Atlantis, the Drowned has invaded and slaughtered or mind-controlled most of the Atlanteans, who are still recovering from recent events.

New Raid and Elite Raid: The Phoenix Cannon

Batman, with the Key of Atlan in hand, meets Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, and players on Thanagar. They plan on using the key along with the Phoenix Cannon to venture into the Dark Multiverse.

Extra Life 2019

Second Chance Vendor

Items from the Time Torn Time Capsule and Arcane Time Capsule are now available on the Second Chance Vendor for Quarks. These items are in addition to the items from Time Capsule I, Amazon, Qwardian, and Team-Up Time Capsules already there. Look for Booster Gold in your HQ, standing next to the Quark Vendor.

New Resurgence Mega Capsule!

The Resurgence Mega Capsule is back with new powerset chromas!

The Mega Capsule is now dropping in-game (opened with Stabilizers) AND is also now available for purchase directly in the Marketplace. Catch up on past Time Capsules, take advantage of the discount, and collect any of 17 sets of powerset chromas!

All gear in the Resurgence Mega Capsule has had their Maximum Item Level increased to 242.

Legends

• Fixed an issue preventing Legends characters from healing and power-healing properly. This addresses numerous abilities and characters.

Battle for Earth

• The Belt of Crossing Souls and Gauntlets of the Planar Shift (Astral Alloy styles) now correctly drop in South Gotham from Sub-Avatars.

Powers

• Atomic: Fixed an issue where Particle Beam would hit first target within beams path instead of selected target.

Weapons

• Staff: One of the Flip Burst Mastery attacks was doing too much damage. This has been fixed.

New Episode: Metal Part I

Batman has gone missing and the race for Metal has begun! The Dark Knights and the Justice League scour the universe for rare forms of Metal – the keys to victory in the war between the Multiverse and the Darkness. As heroes and villains alike race across Earth, Oa, Themyscira, and beyond, the Bruce Waynes of the Dark Multiverse hatch plans of their own. Metal Part I features new daily and weekly Open World missions, a Solo and Alert, as well as normal and Elite versions of two new Raids!

To play this content your character must be level 30 and have a minimum Combat Rating of 264.

New Solo: Scarlet Speedster

Central City is in disarray. Dark lightning bolts are striking randomly, causing fear and chaos. Criminals in the city are taking advantage of the situation, looting businesses and mugging citizens. Heroes arrive to help while the speedsters are occupied, while villains get a tip from Calculator that this could be a good opportunity. Calculator has also asked villains to secure dead drops from heists executed during the chaos.

New Open World Missions: Metal Gotham

The Batman Who Laughs has unleashed chaos on Gotham City to keep Batman’s allies from finding the Dark Knight. Dark Multiverse energy is infecting people, turning them into threats. He’s cracked open Arkham Asylum, sending escaped inmates to run amok. Nightwing wants to protect Gotham City in Batman’s absence. Killer Croc wants to protect his home turf. A mysterious benefactor has hired Deathstroke to gather exotic metals. Heroes and villains are working together to save the city from a greater threat.

New Alert: Batcave Breach

Nightwing sends a distress call. He and Robin are in the Batcave, pinned down by its automated defenses run amok. Oracle and Calculator have formed a loose alliance to stop what appears to be a metahuman pandemic spreading through Gotham City. Oracle uses Justice League teleporters to get heroes and villains alike to the Batcave.

The Merciless has arrived on Olympus, searching for something. He defeated the gods that tried to stop him. Hades fled to his nether realm while Ares traveled to Themyscira, searching for the Sunblade. Ares believes it can hurt The Merciless. Heroes and villains alike join Wonder Woman in her own search for the Sunblade.

Game Update 97

Artifacts

• Increased the maximum rank for Artifacts to the final rank 200.
• Reduced the overall effectiveness of the Venom Wrist Dispenser.
• Doubled the group might buff on the Tetrahedron of Urgrund if used by a Controller
• Doubled the group precision buff on the Cog of Mageddon if used by a Controller.
• Added a new damage proc to Rank 80 of the Dead King’s Scepter.
• Increased Precision and Might on the Philosopher’s Stone.
• Increased the cooldown reduction per free cast from 3 seconds to 6 seconds on the Philosopher’s Stone.
• Philosopher’s Stone base cool down increased to 40 seconds at rank 120. (up from 10 seconds)

Episode 32 Currency Conversion

• All items on the Titans Equipment Vendor can now be purchased for Source Marks. The vendor sells conversion boxes to convert your old Titan’s Cred into Source Marks, and Teen Titans content now rewards Source Marks.

Artifact Catalyst Consolidation

• The number of Artifact Catalysts has been reduced from 21 to 3. New Catalysts can be bought from John Constantine and any existing Catalysts in your inventory can be consumed to grant 10 Source Marks.

Weapon Attacks

• Significantly adjusted most weapon attacks for consistency, generally increasing attack damage.
• Weapon Mastery abilities correctly do more damage than their non-Weapon-Mastery versions.

General

• Nightwing has had a makeover.
• Players are no longer clamped to CR 280 in event content. 
• Lunge no longer grants damage immunity in PvE content.
• Reduced Supply Drop damage-increase to 20%.
• Added Neo-Venom Boost Tactical Mod (Helmet) which can now be found at the dispenser in your base.
• A set of new loading screens have been added to the rotation.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where Robot Side Kick would not properly swap targets within melee range.
• Fixed an issue where Nature’s “Swarm Shield” would not shield the caster.
• Fixed an issue where Flux would sometimes not shield the healer.
• Fixed an issue where Insectoid form would lower the healer’s restoration.
• Hard Light Shield is no longer overridden by healer group shields.
• Light Weight Strike now generates the correct amount of Supercharge.
• Fixed an issue where Earth’s Crystal Golem would not benefit from the Crushed power interaction.

How to download updates for DC Universe Online for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for DC Universe Online, you have three options:

• let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

• try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

• select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
