My Nintendo: three new missions for European users (gamescom 2016)
Back during E3 2016, Nintendo added some special missions to My Nintendo. All users had to do was find some little secrets hidden on the official Nintendo @ E3 2016 website, and they could get some extra coins. It looks like this inspired Nintendo of Europe, who decided to do something similar for gamescom (which started today).
This time around, there’s three special missions, available until August 21st (5PM BST / 6PM CEST):
- Find the Sheikah eye on gc.nintendo.de (10 Platinum Coins)
- Find the splat on gc.nintendo.de (10 Platinum Coins)
- Join us live on gc.nintendo.de (20 Platinum Coins)
NB: unlike the E3 2016 missions, those are only available to European users.
All missions are pretty easy to complete (as long as you actually pay attention), especially the second one. They make for some easy 40 Platinum coins, which could go toward your next Nintendo 3DS Theme for example. Unfortunately, Nintendo hasn’t added any rewards since last month, so you probably won’t know what to spend them on…
Also, if you’re actually attending gamescom yourself, make sure to drop by the Nintendo booth in order to get some more extra Platinum Coins. All you have to do is complete the following missions:
- Play Mario Party: Star Rush
- Play Monster Hunter Generations
- Play 2 Indie games of your choice
If you complete all missions (you get stamps when doing so), you will get 300 Platinum Coins if you’re already a My Nintendo user, and only 250 Platinum Coins if you’re not.
