Japan: Top 10 for the Nintendo eShop (August 30th – September 4th, 2016)
In Japan, Nintendo is regularly posting weekly rankings for the Nintendo eShop on its website (more precisely, its Topics section). Obviously, there’s no actual sales data, but they give us a good idea of what Japanese players are buying on the Nintendo eShop. Also, please note the rankings below include digital pre-orders, which explains why some unreleased games are charting.
On Nintendo 3DS, Sabaku no Nezumidan (released right after last week’s Nintendo 3DS Direct presentation) is the new best-seller, while Minecraft: Wii U Edition is knocked off the #1 spot by Discovery… a Minecraft clone.
