Piyokoro – Ver. 2.0.2

  • Release date: May 1st 2024 (North America) / May 2nd 2024 (North America, Europe, Japan)
  • Patch notes:
  • Fixed an issue where a display problem occurred on the stage selection screen when performing specific operations in certain conditions.

Piyokoro – Ver. 2.0.0

  • Release date: March 7th 2024 (North America, Europe) / March 8th 2024 (Japan)
  • Patch notes:
  • New world
    • A new world, World 5: Strawberry Volcano, has been added.
      • This new world can be played after progressing up to a certain point in the game. If you have already reached that point and if you fulfill the conditions, you can play this new world right away.
  • New characters
    • Two new characters have been added.
      • The new characters will be unlocked as you progress through the game.
  • New features
    • Adds new characters and objects to the stage editor.
  • Other changes
    • Adjusted the volume of BGM and sound effects.
    • Adjusted movement when using the stick on the stage screen.
    • Adjusted presentation when building stone statues on the stage screen so that the size of the statues is easier to see.

Piyokoro – Ver. 1.0.3

  • Release date: December 27th 2023 (North America) / December 28th 2023 (Europe, Japan)
  • Patch notes:
New features
  • Adds support for the Nintendo Switch controller.
Changes
  • Starting with this update, the only way to create stone statues on the stage screen is to press and hold the ZR button.
  • Due to this change, you can no longer create stone statues by pressing and holding the A button, and you cannot drawn lines with the ZR button.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixes an issue where if you use the character “Harikuru”, characters are generated infinitely, preventing progress.
  • Fixes an issue causing the eraser to become unusable in the stage editor.

Piyokoro – Ver. 1.0.2

  • Release date: December 18th 2023 (North America) / December 19th 2023 (Japan)
  • Patch notes:

This update fixes the following issues:

  • thin black borders appear in some text on the credits screen
  • the text displayed when points are earned in some stages is different than what was originally intended
  • BGM can only be heard from one side on the map screen
  • when certain characters are unlocked, a white square is displayed on the notification

Piyokoro – Ver. 1.0.1

  • Release date: December 13th 2023 (North America) / December 14th 2023 (Japan)
  • Patch notes:
New Features
  • Added a function to switch between worlds by pressing the L or R buttons on the stage selection screen (only when you can choose from multiple worlds)
  • Added a function to display the number of jewels obtained in a given stage on the stage screen (available from the Pause Menu)
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from drawing and performing other actions when drawing a line to wrap around in the stage screen.
  • Fixed an issue causing bombs to look and behave differently than intended on some stages.

How to download updates for Piyokoro for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Piyokoro, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
