• adds Freedom Mode
  • Available after clearing the game. It adds new features to Standard Mode:
    • You can remove Ein from the party, allowing you to battle without him;
    • You can choose how many characters take part in battle (you can battle with only one character)
    • You can change the items in the battle menu, allowing to change items during battle
• adds Highlevel mode
  • Limited to 15 items
  • Training is prohibited
  • No Autosave
  • No Saving via menu
  • No Retry (Return is possible)
  • Number of participants: no restriction
• adds Skill voice playback
  • In Extra [Item Encyclopedia], you can play back the voice lines of Skills you have used at least once. You can also play Overskill voice lines from cut-ins!

How to download updates for Riviera: The Promised Land for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Riviera: The Promised Land, you have three options:

• let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

• try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

• select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
