Yo-kai Watch comes out next week (on April 29th), in Europe. To prepare for this launch, Nintendo opened the official website for the game: it can be found there. Naturally, since the game is already available in North America since November, there isn’t anything really new to say about the game. That being said, if you’re in need of a refresher, or never heard of the game before, then the website is definitely worth checking out!

Yo-kai Watch anime series

The Yo-kai Watch anime series wil debut later today in the United Kingdom (on April 23rd), on Cartoon Network. Here’s the short trailer uploaded yesterday by Nintendo UK:

Yo-kai Dream Medal

If you read our previous reports about Yo-kai Watch 3, you know the game will be compatible with the Yo-kai Dream medals. This is a brand new type of medals, which is equipped with a YC Chip (NFC Chip). Data can be recorded on them, then read in Yo-kai Watch 3, and with the new DX Yo-kai Watch Dream.

This week, Bandai announced that the first series of Yo-kai Dream medals would be launched in July (most likely on July 16th, just like Yo-kai Watch 3 itself). It will contain 20 different medals, with:

  • 9 holographic medals
  • 11 regular medals

They will be sold in blind bags containing only 1 medal, and sold 210 Yen.

Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi / Tempura (3DS) comes out on July 16th in Japan.
