The Grisaia Trilogy: details and pictures (games, English language, more)

Protoype have shared some details about the The Grisaia Trilogy, which is releasing on Nintendo Switch later this year in Japan.

First, the complete list of games included in the collection:

  • The Fruit of Grisaia
  • The Labyrinth of Grisaia
    • After Story
    • The Cocoon of Caprice
    • Short Short Scenario
  • The Eden of Grisaia
    • The Seed of Blanc Aile
    • Prologue
  • Extras
    • Grisaia no Yuukan
    • Grisaia no Zankou
    • Grisaia no Senritsu

In other words, you get the whole package with this collection!

Good news for fans of Visual Novels not familiar enough with Japanese to play such a game in that language: the Japanese version of The Grisaia Trilogy will have an English language option (and not just the game themselves: the menus and the digital manual, too!), and you can switch between English and Japanese at any time during gameplay. However, do note that voices are only available in Japanese.

Based on other Prototype releases (such as planetarium), it’s probably safe to assume there will be a simultaneous worlwide release, though digital-only in Europe and North America.

The Grisaia Collection will be fully playable using the touchscreen, and you will also be able to play using only one Joy-Con. Of course, the games can be played in any mode: TV Mode, Tabletop Mode, and Handheld Mode (with various improvements to portability)… which is the same as all other Prototype releases on Nintendo Switch.

The Grisaia Trilogy will cost 7776 Yen at retail, and 6800 Yen on the Nintendo eShop.

Finally, here’s some screenshots and character artworks:
