Mario no Photopi
Mario no Photopi is a pretty obscure Mario game, that was only released in Japan (back in 1998). But what’s so unique about it isn’t really the game itself, but rather the cartridge it uses: it has a slot for SmartMedia cards, allowing the users to transfer to transfer pictures to the game, in order to use them in their creations. You can read more about the game over at the Mario Wiki.
And the reason we’re talking about it today is that a hacker finally managed to make the game run, and captured some footage of it:
Thanks KojiKnight for the heads up!
Super Mario chocolate
