Monster Hunter XX: Hiro Majima collab. revealed, screens, footage (Lao-Shan Lung, Glavenus, more)

Update: added developer video showcasing the Alchemy Style and the Beast style (for the Prowler) in Monster Hunter XX!

Today, Capcom revealed a few things for Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross), which comes out in exactly 2 months in Japan (on March 18th). First, we have the collaboration with Hiro Majima, the famous manga artist, who created a special outfit and weapon. The weapon is a Great Sword called Uranometria.

Here’s some pictures:

Speaking of Hiro Majima, he was one of the guests during the latest episode of Capcom TV, which was livestreamed earlier today. He showcases the equipment he designed, before going off to hunt the Glavenus.

Naturally, he also tried to hunt the menacing Barufaruku with the rest of the Capcom TV cast:

Finally, Shintaro Kojima (Producer) arrived, and he let Hiro Majima play some more. For this last bit, he was allowed to test his mettle against the recently-revealed Lao-Shan Lung, in the Fortress map:

The last video is a developer video showcasing the Alchemy Style and the Beast style (for the Prowler):

Finally, 4Gamer published some more play impressions for Monster Hunter XX today. As usual, the article is filled with loads of brand new screenshots (though they do focus on already- revealed elements and monsters).
