Monster Hunter Stories: character showcase videos (#7: Mysterious Felynes)

In July and August, Capcom shared some Ootomon showcase videos on Twitter, as part of promotional campaigns. Those videos showcased the monsters you can befriend and battle with in the game, such as the Narcaguga, the Devilijho, the Tigrex, the Rathalos, and several more.

And today, Capcom launched another promotional campaign for the game on Twitter. Once again, we’re getting some new videos, but those are not showcasing Otomon: they introduce the various characters you will meet in the game!

Naturally, just like with the Otomon showcase videos, we will gather all the videos in a single post… this one!

September 7th

  • Mysterious Felynes: a mysterious group of Felynes the protagonist will encounter during their adventure.

September 6th

  • Ayuria (voiced by Yui Makino): a rider born and raised in a different village than the protagonist. She’s gone on a journey with her Barioth (Glacier), in order to accomplish of certain mission of hers. She has a mysterious shining blue stone on her chest.

September 4th and September 5th

  • Rivert (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita): a Hunter known for his superior hunting skills. Mahho introduces the protagonist to him, and that’s where they learn the values of a Hunter;

  • Village Chief Omuna (voiced by Tetsuo Goto): the Chief of the Village the protagonist is from;
  • Dan-senpai (voiced by Junichi Sugita)

September 3rd

  • Lila (voiced by Minami Takahashi): a bright and active young girl, who often drags the protagonist around, and is always the first to move into action. She will also go on a journey, but for a different reason than the protagonist.

September 2nd

  • Cheval (voiced by Ryota Ohsaka) a serious, but kind-hearted boy. Just like the protagonist (his childhood friend), he aims to become a Rider.

September 1st

  • Nabiru (voiced by M.A.O.): a rather peculiar Felyne, and the protagonist’s partner.

Monster Hunter Stories (3DS) will be released on October 8th in Japan.
