Todd Howard (Skyrim Creator) comments about the Nintendo Switch, Skyrim

Following the reveal of the Nintendo Switch, last month, Bethesda explained that they would talk about the games they’re bringing to the platform at a later date. In other words: despite being prominently featured in the preview trailer, Skyrim is not coming to the Nintendo Switch… officially. Naturally, the game is all but confirmed, unless you’re from the Besthesda PR department.

If you had any more doubts, Todd Howard (Skyrim’s creator) shared some comments in an interview with Glixel:

Can you really bring Skyrim with you on the go?
It’s the same game on the TV and on the other screen.

Now that’s definitely not something you would say if the game didn’t exist.

He also talked about the Nintendo Switch itself:

I love it. I got to play it. I will tell you – well, maybe that’s an N.D.A. thing. One of the best demos I’ve ever seen. Probably the best demo I’ve ever seen. At E3.

I mean the device itself. I think it’s really smart what they’re doing. We’re definitely going to be supporting it. It’s the first time we’ve done something on Nintendo. If you don’t count the old NES stuff. Home Alone. Or Where’s Waldo?

The Nintendo Switch will released in March. The Nintendo Switch presentation will take place on January 12th/13th.
