In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can use a handy power known as Ascend. It allows you to jump up and go straight through the roof of a building, a cave, etc.. For example, if you head into a cave on a mountain, you climb up that mountain in one shot with Ascdend, further expanding your range of exploration since you don’t have to worry about running out of stamina. The only drawback is that this power only works in places with a roof.

Next: Diving. Once you’re done exploring Sky Islands, you can head back to the surface by Diving. To do so, simply run to the edge of an island and jump! While you’re falling, make sure to take the time to take advantage of the view to look around and search for places of interests or your next destination.

The Fuse power can be used to craft new types of arrows by “fusing” various materials to your bow and arrows. For example, you can stick an ice material to your arrows to create ice arrows that will freeze enemies on impact, or a monster’s eye to create arrows that will home in on enemies. Make sure to try lots of different combinations!

And the Fuse power is so versatile, it can even be used with shields. For example, by sticking a “Popshroom” to your shield, it will spew out smoke when blocking enemy attacks. That way, you can take advantage of the smoke to attack enemies while they’re unable to see you!

The Fuse power allows Link to create new weapons by attaching various objects to his equipment. For example, you can turn a simple tree branch into a deadly hammer by combining it with a large rock. Fusing things together not only increases the attack power of the item/weapon used as base, but also its durability!

And of course, you can also fuse two weapons together. For example, if you fuse a spear-like weapon with a long stick, you can craft a spear with an exceedingly long reach!

One of Link’s new powers is called Ultrahand. Not only does it allow him to grab and lift a wide variety of objects, it can also be used to attach (and detach) objects together. With this handy power (pun semi-intended), Link can craft various things, like a powerboat for example!

Also, the game features a new type of objects: Fans. As you might expect, those generate wind. They can be used on a boat, allowing it to glide at the surface of water… and in the air!

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will encounter new enemies known as Constructs (Golem in Japanese). The moment they spot an enemy, they start attacking, so you need to be careful around them. They’re often found on the Sky Islands, which float in the skies of Hyrule.

And in this game, Link will be able to use several new powers. One of them is called Recall, and it allows him to rewind the movement of objects. For example, he can rewind a fallen block all the way to the sky!

There’s also Fuse, which works exactly like you would expect: it allows you to fuse two items together. This can be used to create new weapons, shields, and various types of arrows. Bonus: it also increases the durability of weapons!

Also, here’s details about some characters/monsters:

  • Link: the protagonist of the game. His appearance has changed considerably, but what happened for him to end up like that?
  • Zelda: the princess of the Hyrule Kingdom. What is that strange device she’s holding in her left hand?
