- Inside a Pokéball
Pokémon GO
Starting today, a new update for Pokémon GO is available. It brings the game to Ver. 0.43.3 (iOS) / 1.13.3 (Android), with the following changes/fixes:
- Professor Willow discovered that Eggs have different patterns depending on the distance required to hatch them.
- Pokémon type icons have been added to the information screen for each Pokémon.
- Low battery indicator added for the Pokémon GO Plus.
- Minor text fixes
But that’s not all: Niantic also announced the Halloween Event for Pokémon GO, taking place from October 26tho to November 1st. During that period, you will earn double the amount of Candy every time you catch, hatch, and transfer Pokémon (+ the bonus when you’re with your Buddy Pokémon). Also, some Pokémon will appear more frequently:
Pokémon Center stores
Starting from November 3rd, various Christmas-related merchandise will be available at Pokémon Center stores across Japan. On Friday, The Pokémon Company shared pictures of some of the goodies that will be available:

Inside a Pokéball
Pokéballs are one of the central elements of the Pokémon series: there would be no catching them without those high-tech items. But how is it, inside? Super cramped? Are Pokémon shrinked? Are they teleported elsewhere? The official answer may (or may not) surprise you: the inside of a Pokéball is not unlike a fancy room in a hotel.
Here’s what Junichi Masuda (Director of the Pokémon series) said about that:
I think it’s safe to say that it’s very comfortable inside inside of a Pokeball, it’s a very comfortable environment. Maybe the equivalent of a high-end suite room in a fancy hotel.
