Dragalia Lost now releasing on September 27th, United States at launch, Nintendo Direct on August 29th/30th

Update: you will find plenty of details about Dragalia Lost in this post!

***

Earlier this year, Nintendo announced a brand new mobile game, co-developed with CyGames: Dragalia Lost. It was originally slated for a Summer release, but it looks like it ended up suffering from a rather minor delay, as it’s now launching on September 27th (effectively a week into Fall).

But the most important change isn’t the date itself, it’s that the game is now releasing in one additional country on launch day. Originally, only Japan, Taiwan, Macau, and Hong Kong were supposed to get it on that day, but it turns out that the United States also will! No word on release in other countries/regions (Europe, Canada, Australia, etc.)

With the United States getting it at launch, the game will officially be available in English at launch, which is great news for those who were planning to download the game from another region in order to start playing it early. For those of you outside the United States, you will always be available to sideload the app (on Android) or use a US account (iOS) if you really cannot wait for the launch in your own region.

But that’s not all! Nintendo has been revealing various details via Twitter over the past few months, but it looks like they’re ready to start promoting the game in earnest. A new Nintendo Direct presentation, entirely dedicated to the game, has been announced: it will take place on August 29th (North America) / August 30th (Europe, Japan). It’s not clear what will be shown, other than the obvious (gameplay footage and various details).

Here’s when the Dragalia Lost Direct will take place:

  • Europe: 5.30AM
  • UK: 4.30AM
  • North America (ET): 11.30PM
  • North America (PT): 8.30PM
  • Japan: 12.30PM
