Another Code: Recollection – Where to find the Folded Cranes in Two Memories

While exploring the Edward Mansion in the Two Memories part of Another Code: Recollection on Nintendo Switch, you will come across some curious Folded Cranes. Those were left there by Richard Robins, Ashley’s father.

If you scan them with the camera of your DAS, you get to unlock special messages from Richard. Those are not mandatory to finish the game, but do provide some additional story details about Blood Edward Island, the mansion and its former inhabitants, and even Ashley and her family.

Those Folded Cranes are often hiding in plain sight, but some can be a bit tricky to find. That’s why we created this post, where we’ve listed the location of all 14 Folded Cranes in the Two Memories part of Another Code: Recollection.

But first, a couple of tips for players who want to try and find them on their own:

  • In the message list, selecting a message will highlight the room the Folded Crane is located in on the map to the right.
  • You have to search every nook and cranny (literally!) to find the Folded Cranes, as some are located in some not immediately obvious spots.
  • With the exception of #10 (which is found before #7, #8, and #9), Folded Cranes are meant to be found in the same order the game has you explore each room of the mansion. In other words, if you got the Folded Cranes #3 and #5, that means you’re missing #4 and need to go back.
  • All Folded Cranes, without exception, are found inside the Mansion (6 in the East Wing, 5 in the West Wing, 1 on the Connecting Passageway, and 2 in the Basement). There are no Folded Cranes to find outside.
