Splatoon maintenance taking place on Wednesday (June 3rd)

During today’s Nintendo Direct Micro, Nintendo made several announcements regarding Splatoon. The first one involves a new map (Port Mackerel) and a new weapon (N-Zap ’85, based on the NES Zapper), which will be released tomorrow (or this evening if you live in North America). But that’s not all: players have finally unlocked Ranked Battle modes, and the first one (Splat Zones) will be released at the same time.

And apparently, to prepare for this new content, Nintendo will not need any maintenance tomorrow/this evening. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be any, as Nintendo just announced that there would indeed be one… but on Wednesday instead (Tuesday if you live in North America).

Here’s the list of services impacted:

– Wii U: Splatoon (all services)

The maintenance will take place on:

Europe: Wednesday, June 3rd (2.50AM to 4AM)
UK: Wednesday, June 3rd (1.50AM to 3AM)
North America (East): Tuesday, June 2nd (8.50PM to 10PM)
North America (West): Tuesday, June 2nd (5.50PM to 7PM)
Japan: Wednesday, June 3rd (9.50AM to 11AM)
