Nintendo 3DS: new Firmware update available (Ver. 9.8.0-25)

Even though the Wii U hasn’t been updated in almost 6 months, Firmware updates for the Nintendo 3DS have been released regularly, with new features being added every couple of months or so. In fact, the last update with new features was back in March, with the addition of a Home Menu Layout setting.

And today, Nintendo has released yet another update for the Nintendo 3DS family of handhelds. It brings the Firmware to version 9.8.0-25, but it doesn’t come with any new new features (just the usual “improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience”, though Nintendo hasn’t updated the English changelog yet).

To download this new Firmware (ver. 9.8.0-25) for the Nintendo 3DS, you can simply go to System Settings > Other Settings > 5 > System update, while being connected to the internet.
