Nintendo Direct Micro: Project Treasure, Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, E3 plans, more

During the Nintendo Direct Micro, Nintendo made several announcements. The most important ones got their own post, but this one is for the least important ones (or those about games already released).

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon

Just like in the Japanese Nintendo Direct, Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon was mentionned during the (North American) Nintendo Direct Micro. Unfortunately, no date was given, and we’re probably going to have to wait a few more weeks before we get one.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon (3DS) comes out on September 17th in Japan, this Winter in North America, and Early 2016 in Europe.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics

Just like in the Japanese Nintendo Direct, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics was mentionned during the (North American) Nintendo Direct Micro. Unfortunately, no date was given, and we’re probably going to have to wait a few more weeks before we get one.

However, Nintendo did remind us that there will be at least two new sports:

– Rubys sevens (Wii U version)
– Golf (Nintendo 3DS version)

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics (Wii U / 3DS) comes out later this year in Europe, Japan, and North America.

Project Treasure

Just like in the Japanese Nintendo Direct, Project Treasure was mentionned during the (North American) Nintendo Direct Micro. Unfortunately, Nintendo didn’t spend too much time on this game, instead redirecting fans toward their YouTube where the English trailer was uploaded.

Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition

During the Nintendo Direct Micro, Nintendo revealed a “secret” about Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition: when you beat the game, you can access 8 additional worlds. There, you can get some additional characters for your team:

– Rosalina
– Peach
– Bowser
– Bowser Jr.
– Koopalings

But that’s not all: Puzzle & Dragons Z will get weekly dungeon distribution, via internet. It allows you to get additional dungeons, where you can catch a special monster. In fact, the first one is already available! This additional content comes on top of the massive second continent you can unlock by beating the main story.

E3 Plans

During the Nintendo Direct Micro, Nintendo also gave some additional details about its E3 plans. First, they revealed the time the livestream for the Nintendo World Championships 2015 will start:

– Europe: 12PM on June 15th
– UK: 11PM on June 14th
– North America (EDT): 6PM on June 14th
– North America (PDT): 3PM on June 14th
– Japan: 7AM on June 15th

One of the challenges will be based on… it’s a secret to everybody!

Finally, they reiterated that during E3, Nintendo will talk about Wii U and Nintendo 3DS coming out in 2015 and early 2016.
