PokéNews (Sept. 13): Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (Lycanroc) / Pokémon Duel

Today’s Pokémon news: Lycanroc to get an exclusive Z-Move in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, but also…

  • Pokémon Duel
  • Pokkén Tournament DX
  • Pokémon: I Choose You (movie)
  • Pokkén Tournament (Arcade)
  • Pokémon no Uchi Atsumaru?!

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon

Today, another scan from CoroCoro leaked, allowing us to get even more details about Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. This time, the focus is on Lycanroc, which is getting a special Z-Move Called Radial Edge Storm. Quite interestingly, Lycanroc needs to know Stone Edge in order to be able to use it.

Radial Edge Storm has an interesting side effect: it gets ride of field effects (such as Terrain). Also, all forms of Lycanroc can use it, as long as they know Stone Edge that is!

Finally, CoroCoro reveals how to evolve Rockruff to Dusk Lycanroc. You need a Rockruff with the Own Temp ability, and once it’s Level 24, you make it evolve by leveling up to Level 25 between 5PM and 5.59PM. The thing is… the only Rockruff you will be able to find with that ability is the one from the distribution that goes live on launch day, and lasts until early next year (see this page for more details).
