Nintendo eShop Highlights

Here’s the latest Nintendo eShop Highlights video for the Nintendo Switch, for August 2017:

SteamWorld Dig 2

Last week, Image & Form uploaded the latest episode of The Engine Room, their webshow about everything SteamWorld. This one is naturally about SteamWorld Dig 2, and it reveals that the composer for SteamWorld Dig 2 is none other than… El Huervo! While it’s possibly you may not be too familiar with his name, you’ve definitely heard of two of the games he composed for… Hotline Miami and its sequel!

SteamWorld Dig (Switch – eShop) comes out on September 21st in Europe and North America, and this Fall in Japan.

Wheels of Aurelia

A few days ago, we learned that Wheels of Aurelia was headed to the Nintendo Switch, courtesy of Mixed Bag Games. The good news is, the port is already complete, and it’s been sent to Nintendo for lotcheck. If everything goes well, we should have a release date in the next couple of weeks!

Shakedown Hawaii

Here’s the latest video clip for Shakedown Hawaii:

Shakedown Hawaii (Switch, 3DS – eShop) still doesn’t have a release date.

VOEZ

A few days ago, VOEZ received its second post-launch update, adding even more free songs to the game. And last week, Circle Ent. announced that another update was already in the work, and would be announced at the end of the month. While not confirmed, it’s basically guaranteed this update will add some more free songs!

Hex Gambit

Last week, One Man Left Studios shared the latest devblog post for Hex Gambit (which was recently funded on Kickstarter!). This one showcase the Brute’s Toss Attack:

The brute doesn’t just pack a powerful melee, he also has a move called Toss that lets him rearrange the board a bit. His target can be flung over barriers, or even crowdsurf a line of other minions if you get a good angle. Use him as a blunt instrument on the front line, or as a springboard to feed reinforcements up the field! It’s also great for physically removing enemies that are standing right where you don’t want them.

Hex Gambit (Switch – eShop) will be released next year.

Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas

Curious about Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas, but not sure if the game is really worth it? Well then, if you don’t mind waiting, FDG Entertainment have announced that a demo was currently in the works. It’s not clear when it will be released, but it’s most likely not going to be for a few more weeks. Still, now you know that a demo is coming!
