Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns – DLC to be localised after all, trailer for the Mario costumes, more
Yesterday, XSEED posted the latest (and last pre-release) localisation blog post for Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns, which is out in just a couple of days in North America (on February 28th). And they have some pretty good news! Remember the previous localisation blog post, where they discussed the DLC, and explained it may not be localised (or would be paid)?
Well, they were overwhelmed by the feedback they received from it, which is why they decided to localise the DLC after all. They don’t have a release timeframe or even pricing, but fans can rest assured that all the extra content will indeed be released in English. More details will be shared in the months following the initial release of the game.
Oh, and no need to worry about the bug fixes and improvements that came with the post-launch patches in Japan: they have all been implemented in the base version of the game in North America, which means you will not even have to download a Day 1 patch (let alone wait for the DLC to get them).
Next, we have a trailer for the Super Mario costumes that can be found in Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns…
Here’s the 4 Super Mario costumes to be found in the game:
- Mario’s Outfit and Hat: Mama mia! The iconic plumber’s signature red and blue uniform gives your running speed a boost.
- Luigi’s Outfit and Hat: Luigi’s costume will improve your luck at fishing. Others will be green with envy!
- Princess Peach’s Dress and Tiara: This regal dress and tiara will make you better friends with other characters. Sweet!
- Toad’s Outfit and Hat: The tireless Toad’s outfit causes your stamina to recharge automatically over time.
And here’s some screenshots for them:
Finally, make sure to check out the full localisation blog post over at the XSEED Blog, for comments from the localisation team, and more precisely:
