Pokémon Picross to be released next week in Europe and North America

Pokemon Picross (11)During the Nintendo Direct, a new Pokémon spin-off was announced for the Nintendo 3DS: Pokémon Picross. As the name implies, it’s a Pokémon version of Picross, with Pokémon to catch. Your new partners can then use special moves to help you solve puzzles, though you need to wait (or use microtransactions) to use them again.

No release date was given during the Nintendo Direct, but Nintendo specified that it would be available in Early December. And as many suspected, the game will be released on December 3rd, at least in Europe and North America. This date comes from the official Pokémon website, and certainly fits with the “Early December” window announced during the Nintendo Direct.

We currently don’t know when the game will be released in Japan, but it’s quite likely it will be available on December 2nd (since the Nintendo eShop is updated on Wednesday in Japan). No doubt we will have a confirmation within the next few days!

Pokémon Picross (3DS eShop) will be released on December 3rd in Europe and North America, and in Early December in Japan.
