  • Jump Victory Carnival 2017

Nintendo @ Kansai International Aiport

Starting this Friday, travelers will be able to check out the Nintendo Switch at the Nintendo Check In zone at the Kansai International Airport. Several games on Nintendo Switch (2 to 3 titles), but also Nintendo 3DS (1 to 2 titles) and mobile (1 to 2 titles), will be playable in this new space (located on the 1st floor of Terminal 1).

You can also take pictures next to a statue of Mario, if you (and/or your kids) are interested! And during the opening week-end (June 23rd to June 25th), Mario himself (well… someone wearing a costume, obviously) will be there for visitors to take pictures with, and gifts will be distributed. No games (or consoles) will be on sale, though.

The Nintendo Check In space will be open from 10.30AM to 5.30PM every day, and everyone can get in (even non-travelers). Mario will be there from June 23rd to June 25th at the following times: 10.30AM, 12PM, 1.30PM, 3PM.

Also at the Kansai International Airport Terminal, travelers will be greeted by lots of Mario decorations, from the moment they exit the plane up to when they leave the aiport. However, it’s only at the Arrival areas of the terminal, and is only visible to travelers who arrived by planes.

Kirby 25th Anniversary

Here’s some pictures of a really pretty Kirby pocket watch, created for the 25th Anniversary of the series (price: 8 000 Yen + taxes):

It look like only a select number of them will be produced, based on the numbers of pre-orders between July 1st and July 31st. The pocket watch will only be available to those who pre-order during that month. Delivery will be sometime in mid-October.
