Nintendo Minute

Today, Nintendo uploaded the latest episode of Nintendo Minute, the first one for this week (the second one will come on Friday, as usual). In this one, Kit and Krysta do an official unboxing of the Nintendo Switch, showing us everything that’s in the box!

Hi! It’s finally here!! We finally have Nintendo Switch in our hot little hands. Today, we’re going to unbox this and show you everything you get when you pick up your Nintendo Switch on March 3. We’re only 10 days away from launch and we couldn’t be more excited. Let us know in the comment section below which version you’ll be picking up – gray or the one with neon blue and neon red Joy-Con. As always, thanks so much for watching and we’ll see you next week!

The Nintendo Switch comes out on March 3rd, worldwide.

Alan Stone

Alan Stone is a name you may not be familiar with, especially if you were not born in the 70’s. And yet, you’re most definitely with the company he co-founded: Nintendo of America. The reason we’re writing about him today is because Gamasutra is reporting that Alan Stone died from cancer, on Friday.

For those who don’t know, he wasn’t “just” the co-founder of Nintendo of America: he was an integral part of Nintendo’ beginnings in the Americas, and helped launch arcade games such as Radar Scope and Donkey Kong. He left Nintendo for SEGA in 1994.
