[N-Direct] Monster Hunter X announced for Nintendo 3DS, trailer, official website

During the Monster Hunter Tsudoi 2015 (a special event for fans), Capcom revealed not one, but two new Monster Hunter games for the Nintendo 3DS. One of them is called Monster Hunter X (for Cross, this isn’t the 10th mainline title after all), and is actually fairly different from the other entries in the series.

Even though it’s obviously built on the same engine as Monster Hunter 4(G), this game puts the focus on the flashy actions your hunter can do while hunting. Every weapon gots its own special moves, which are all pretty stylish and impressive. There’s also quite a lot of variety, so that as many players as possible will be able to enjoy the game. The Director of Monster Hunter X is Yasunori Ichinose.

No doubt we’ll get more details about this game next week (most likely in Famitsu magazine). In the mean time, the official website is now open!

Monster Hunter X (3DS) comes out this Winter in Japan.
