Fire Emblem if: overview video, TV commercial
Fire Emblem if comes out in two weeks in Japan (on June 25th), which means it’s high time for the usual overview video that most first-party title get! Just like the other similar videos, it highlights the main elements of the game, starting with the story via some of gorgeous CG cutscenes (in the same style as those from Fire Emblem: Awakening).
It then focuses on the Avatar, which is entirely customisable (with even more options than in Fire Emblem: Awakening). At one point, your character will have to make a choice between the two kingdoms (Hoshido / Nohr), which will ultimately lead to two different endings. There’s over 60 different units in the game, some of which are only your ally in one of the two versions.
Of course, the video shows some footage from battles, with units fighting alone or in groups of two. It even showcases the Dragon’s Vein abilities, which allow the members of the Royalty to interact with the battlefield (by creating bridges, causing earthquakes, etc.). Finally, we get a good look at the My Castle feature, which is one of the new elements of Fire Emblem if.
