Adde snow ground tile. Now some snow decorations (Igloo and Snowman) use this ground tile.

Improvements:

Items for the current event (if any) are now highlighted in the map, just like quest items.

The time it takes to load the farm is now simulated once the game is loaded. Should be more noticeable on big farms that took several seconds to load.

Bugfixes:

Removed Refresh Rate selection, as it wasn’t really working properly because of issues with the Unity engine. Now the game will use the default desktop refresh rate.

Fixed exploit that could allow hackers to ignore Custom Harvest permission limitations.

Slighlty increased boost earned when performing some actions (such as fishing or feeding animals)

Reduced time it takes to build the lower level houses.

Increased boost earned when harvesting quest items.

Adjusted most pond prices and income: Most ponds are now more expensive to place. Some ponds have seen an increase and others a decrease on money obtained when fishing, it now is more on par with other sources of money.

Bugfixes:

Items not available yet (such as upcoming events or DLC) won’t be placed when visited by a cheater.

Warehouse should now count for the “It’s not over until the fat lady sings” achievement.

If an error is detected while creating an online farm, a propmpt will be shown asking the user if he wants to continue in offline mode.

When a prompt asking to continue in offline mode is accepted, the farm mode won’t be changed.

Gameplay changes:

Reduced maximum pond/animal field size to 1,000 tiles. Will help in lowering memory and CPU usage in farms covered by big fields.

Now Guestbook will no longer be recycled when recycling a farm.

Bugfixes:

Fixed Recycling a farm with big lakes taking way too long to complete.

Fixed Event items not showing up as ready to be harvested on the map window.

You can now configure Split screen between horizontal and vertical (only for 2 players).

Changed the header file to a new data format, that has proven being more reliable than the older one (caused many people to lose character progress and event unlocks), and we’ve also added an automatic backup of this header file. This upgrade should be performed automatically.

Changed the way farm data is saved so it’s done faster and taking up less memory. Should lead to less/shorter hiccups while saving on slower computers.

How to download updates for Farm Together for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Farm Together, you have three options:

let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
