80’s Overdive

It’s been a long time in the making, but 80’s Overdrive is finally ready for release! Yesterday, Insane Coding announced that it would be released on December 14th in North America… that’s in two weeks! The date isn’t set in stone for Europe, even though Nintendo of Europe listed it as December 3rd release… which is highly unlikely, as it’s a Sunday. The game will cost $9.99 / 9.99€.

And here’s the North American launch trailer:

Pinball FX3

Initially announced for November, it’s on December 12th that Pinball FX3 will be released on Nintendo Switch. According to the developers, they used the extra time to make some improvements to the game. That includes implementing a suggestion from Nintendo:

We used that time to implement an excellent suggestion from Nintendo – turns out it’s much more comfortable to hold the screen vertically in your hands when only one Joy-Con is attached instead of the two we were originally proceeding with.

The Nintendo Switch version will feature HD Rumble, 30 tables, vertical orientation, and more.

Rocket League

Earlier this week, Psyonix announced that starting on Monday (December 4th), the Velocity Crate debuts in Rocket League. It can contain a brand new Battle-Car: the Imperator DT5, but also six new Decals and Engine Audio (that can be used on most of the other Battle-Cars), new Goal Explosions, Wheels, and more.

Here’s a couple of pictures:

Also, Psyonix announced that since launch, over 2 billion games have been played in Rocket League. Of course, the Nintendo Switch only account for a tiny proportion of those 2 billions (it was only launched last month, after all), but it’s only going to go up from that point onwards!
