Monster Hunter X: latest website update (new monsters, field, more)
This week, Monster Hunter X is featured in Famitsu magazine with a 10-page article. It includes new details about the game, including some “new” monsters, a new field, a new village, a focus on the Nyanter mode, and much more. And as usual, Capcom has updated the official website with pictures for all this new content!
The update focuses on:
- Amatsumagatsuchi (from Monster Hunter Portable 3rd)
- Duramboros (from Monster Hunter Portable 3rd)
- Lavasioth (from Monster Hunter Frontier)
- Sacred Mountain (the new field), which is where the Amatsumagatsuchi lives
- Cocotto Village
- Palico Board
- Felyne and Palico Skills
- Nyanter Quests (which is something Capcom teased with the previous update)
- Trader
- Special Items
- Palico Dojo
- some mini-games
- and more…
If you want all the details about these elements, we suggest you check out Gaijinhunter’s video: it is way more in-depth and accurate than anything we could cook up!

Finally, here’s the covers for the Monster Hunter X soundtrack (announced a few weeks ago), which is coming out on December 16th in Japan:
