Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns – DLC priced and dated for North America

Last year, Marvelous released Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns in Japan, and it was followed by some rather meaty DLC (not just a bunch of extra costumes and all). It was all released for free, but due to the amount of content added (and the timing of their release), it wasn’t really possible for XSEED to also release it for free outside Japan (check out this post and this one for more details).

But the good news is: all the DLC is headed west, and pretty soon! Today, XSEED announced that it would be released on November 9th in North America. We don’t quite know when it will be available in Europe, but given the game itself was released only a few weeks ago, it most likely will not be a simultaneous release.

The DLC Pack is called “New Neighbours Pack”, and costs $7.99. It includes the following: new friendship events, winter outfits, new NPC dialogue, new story content, new romance candidates (Stephanie the contest MC, and Woofie the contest judge, complete with new friendship and romance events for them).

Alongside the DLC Pack, XSEED will release two things:

free update (Ver. 1.1), featuring various gameplay improvements, 4 new outfits (including Lest and Frey’s outfits from Rune Factory 4), and more… for free!
a Nintendo 3DS Theme (price: $1.99).

Unfortunately, we don’t know when the DLC pack, the update, and the Nintendo 3DS Theme will be released in Europe.
