Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon: new details and over 70 screenshots / artworks

Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon

Today, The Pokémon Company revealed some brand new details and quite a lot of screenshots / artworks for Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon. First, a brand new item is introduced: the Connection Orbs, which apparently replace the Discussion Board from the previous games.

As you make friends with other Pokémon, you can get access to various request to fulfill: you can actually see that in the “Pokémon Network”, spotted in the trailer. When you fulfill a request for a Pokémon, you can get access to even more requests. Also, it’s possible to meet some Legendary Pokémon via this system.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon will also introduce an item called the “Magic Lamp”, which basically allows you to summon Hoopa while in the labyrinths. Hoopa can actually call Legendary Pokémon, so they can give you a hand.

Next, we have some details about various Pokémon:

– Pancham and Shelmet are bullying other Pokémon at the Pokémon School, and Goomy seem to be their favorite victim;
– Deerling is a popular classmate, but a tad blunt;
– Espurr, unsurprisingly, is a quite clever student;
– Simipour is the principal of the school, and it knows all the students pretty well;
– Watchog is the vice-principal;
– Audino is the village doctor, and while it may seem rather serious at first, it always end up joking;
– Farfetch’d is described as a serious Pokémon teacher.
