Oddworld New ‘N Tasty and Project Cars still coming to Wii U later this year

Oddworld New ‘N Tasty and Project Cars are two games getting a Wii U version, but after the other platforms (PS4, XB1, PC, etc.). For the first one, the developers announced yesterday that development was still going on for the Wii U version, which should launch later this year.

They also indicated they were soon going to start working on a remake of Abe’s Exodus, but we don’t know if it will ever come to the Wii U. One thing’s for sure: it won’t have any impact on the Wii U version of Oddworld New ‘N Tasty.

As for Project Cars, one of the developers announced today that the game had gone gold (meaning development is now complete). Unfortunately, that doesn’t apply to the Wii U version (which remains quite mysterious), which will not come out in Mid-May along with the other versions.

In the official FAQ, the developers mention that the Wii U version of Project Cars will come out later this year. A separate article to be published soon will also give us more details about this version, including the resolution.
