Puzzle & Dragons Z: English overview trailer
A few minutes ago, Nintendo of Europe uploaded the English overview trailer for Puzzle & Dragons Z (coming out on May 8th in Europe, May 22nd in North America). It shows the various aspects of the game, starting with the world: Dracomacia. Unlike the smartphone version of Puzzle & Dragons, Puzzle & Dragons Z has an actual overworld and a story.
Of course, the core gameplay remains the same: you have to put together orbs of the same colour in order to make them disappear. Doing so deals some damage to enemies, which can be increased by doing combos. Therefore, placing your orbs strategically will be key to win against enemies and bosses. Also, during your adventure, you will get to meet various allies, who will help you in your quest.
In the game, you will be able to collect over 250 monsters. There’s various ways to do so, and one consists in hatching eggs earned in battles. Just like in Pokémon, you can evolve your creatures: to do so, you need use chips collected during your adventure.

Puzzle & Dragons Z (3DS) comes out on May 8th in Europe and May 22nd in North America, and will be included in a bundle with Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition. A special demo is coming out tomorrow in Europe, April 22nd in Japan (today for people with a download code), and on April 30th in North America.
