Nintendo Switch in Korea
Nintendo launched the Nintendo Switch in South Korea on December 1st, and it looks like it’s selling pretty well. Daewon (one of the distributers) has revealed that the console has sold 92 975 units as of February 25th, with 182 178 units for games. In 2018 alone, Hardware and Software sales are at 37 226 units and 100 924 units respectively.
One thing to note is that Daewon is not the only distributor for the Nintendo Switch in South Korea (analysts estimates their share at about 50%), so their sales data are not “complete”. In other words, there’s no real discrepancy between Nintendo’s own report (110 000 Nintendo Switch sold in 2017 alone).
