Luckslinger

2Awesome Studio have announced their latest game for the Nintendo Switch: Luckslinger, an action adventure game developed by Duckbridge. It will be released on April 9th in Europe and North America for 9.99% (with a 20% off discount). Digital pre-orders will go live on March 26th.

Here’s a trailer, some details, and the list of key features for the game:

Luckslinger is an action adventure spaghetti western where you have to rid the west of bandits, steal their luck, and use it for your own good. Fast gunslingers, dark gritty humor, and greed driven anti-heroes mixed with a hip-hop soundtrack in the western adventure of this spring.

In Luckslinger, you’ll be stealing your lucky stars – be sure to spend them wisely! Partly inspired by the unrealistically fast gunslingers, the dark gritty humour, and the greed driven anti-heroes of the spaghetti western classics. Wholly inspired by vinyl digging, graffiti spraying, rhyming, and the slow jazzy drum samples of hip hop culture and sound.

Are you feeling unlucky? In Luckslinger, rid the west of bandits, steal their luck, and use it for your own good. The more luck you have, the more chance you have for bullet evasion, better loot at your feet, and staying alive. However, when you’re “down on your luck” in your trusty bracelet, bridges collapse, rocks tumble, and outlaws might know where you’re sleeping that night.

Clovercreek and the crazy outlaws – The town of Clovercreek has been robbed blind. Six infamous criminals stole the town’s precious luck charms and it’s up to you to bring them back. Get paid the golden price while doing so, because bounty hunters don’t do charity work.

Duck friend till the end – At all times you are accompanied by your companion Duckbridge. He returns your throwing knife, grabs extra health and distracts your enemies… but only when his tiny little duck brain tells him to do so.

  • Levels with different themes, unique elements and crazy boss characters.
  • A completely unique luck mechanic that keeps the gameplay dynamic.
  • Intense gun and knife throwing gameplay that will keep you on your toes.
  • Music to pleasure your eardrums that fit the hip hoppy atmosphere of the game.
  • A duck companion who’s always by your side.
  • One-on-one pistol quick-draw duels.
  • Converse with the nice townsfolk of Clovercreek.
  • Hidden goldbars for the extra challenge.
  • Bonus hip-hop tracks by various artists.

Mundaun

Here’s the latest videos for Mundaun (launch trailer and the latest Behind the Scenes video), along with some more details for the game:

Featuring lovingly hand-pencilled elements sketched out by Ziegler, Mundaun tells the story of a young man who travels to a dark, secluded valley of the Swiss Alps to uncover the mystery of his grandfather’s death and face off with a malevolent entity that resides there.

In Mundaun, players follow a young man named Curdin to Mundaun, an ominous valley in the Alps, to learn more about the mysterious circumstances behind his grandfather’s death. Along the way, he discovers that something diabolical is haunting the town’s residents and slowly unravels the secrets of Mundaun. Throughout their journey, players will solve intricate puzzles and learn more about the town, while avoiding sinister characters that trigger the game’s fear system, a “cause-and-effect” feature which disorients players when facing dangerous situations. The game has been a passion project for Ziegler since beginning development in 2014, and was inspired by Ziegler’s adoration of the rich history of myth and culture of the Swiss region of Grisons.

Mundaun (Switch – eShop) does not have a release date yet.
