Yo-kai Watch 3: second major update announced (Ver. 3.0)

Back when Yo-kai Watch 3 was announced, Level-5 revealed that the game would get several major updates after launch (Ver. 2.0, Ver. 3.0, etc.). In fact, the first one (Ver. 2.0) was released a few days ago, on December 15th, along Yo-kai Watch 3: Sukiyaki.

And today, Level-5 gave the very first details for the second major update for Yo-kai Watch 3, which will bring all versions (Sushi, Tempura, and Sukiyaki) to Ver. 3.0. Unfortunately, we know very little about the update itself, just that it will include new versions of the Enma Daiou Yo-kai:

• Sushi – Special: Taiyoushin Enma
• Tempura – Excellent: Jikuushin Enma
• Sukiyaki – Special Selection: Ankokushin Enma

Unfortunately, we don’t know when this update will be released, or whether there will be a retail release or not. In the mean time, the Upcoming Releases page has been updated!

Speaking of updates, an update for Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi / Tempura / Sukiyaki is now available. It brings the game to Ver. 2.1, and provides fixes issues with the Zombie Night’s Hammer and the Backpack, along with various other improvements. As usual, players who download the update can get a 5 Stars Coin (to use in the capsule toy machine).
