The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 3rd trailer, screens + art, new amiibo, Limited Editions

Today, during and following the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017, Nintendo shared quite a lot of content for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Let’s start right away with the third trailer of the game, available with both English and Japanese voices:

Next, the release date: March 3rd in Japan, North America, and of course Europe. That date is for both the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch version.

The game will be available in several editions:

  • stand-alone ($69.99 / £59.99 / 69.99€ / 6 980 Yen)
  • Special Edition (North America, $99.99): the game, a Nintendo Switch Sheikah Slate Carrying Case, Sheikah Eye Collectible Coin, Relic of Hyrule: Calamity Ganon Tapestry, Weather-Worn Map, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sound Selection CD;
  • The Master Edition (North America, $129.99): the game, a Nintendo Switch Sheikah Slate Carrying Case, Sheikah Eye Collectible Coin, Relic of Hyrule: Calamity Ganon Tapestry and Weather-Worn Map, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sound Selection CD, and Master Sword of Resurrection figure.
  • Limited Edition (Europe, £89.99 / 99.99€): the game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sound Selection CD, and a Master Sword of Resurrection figure;
  • Collector’s Edition (Japan, 9 980 Yen): the game, Link amiibo (Rider), map, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sound Selection CD, reversible cover;
  • Deluxe Collector’s Edition (Japan): the game, Link amiibo (Rider), map, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sound Selection CD, reversible cover, Master Sword of Resurrection figure, set of 20 postcards.
  • Nintendo eShop digital download: Takes up 13.4GB on Nintendo Switch, 13GB on Wii U.

Next, we have two more amiibo:

  • Bokoblin

All the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will cost the same (standard amiibo price, $15.99 in the United States), with the exeption of the Guardian amiibo that will be slightly more expensive ($17.99 in the United States).
