Kirby: Planet Robobot – Commercial and amiibo

Kirby: Planet Robobot comes out in less than a month in Europe and North America: on June 10th to be more precise. Today, Nintendo of America shared two videos for the game, including a commercial. Unsurprisingly, this commercial puts the focus on the main novelty of the game: the Robobot Armour. It allows you to destroy everything on your path, and you can even scan enemies to get powerful abilities.

And along with the commercial above, Nintendo of America also uploaded a short video about the Kirby line of amiibo. Pretty much all amiibo are compatible with the game, and allow you to get various copy abilities based on the character scanned. But the amiibo from the new Kirby line (launching on the same day as the game itself) allow you to get exclusive copy abilities:

• Kirby: U.F.O. ability (rare: the only way to get it is to use the Kirby amiibo from the Kirby series);
• Meta Knight: special Sword ability;
• King Dedede: special Hammer ability;
• Waddle Dee: special Parasol ability.
