Daily Briefs (July 4, Round 2) – Superbeat: Xonic possibly coming to Switch / Chicken Wiggle
Today’s Daily Briefs (Round 2!): Superbeat: Xonic possibly coming to the Nintendo Switch, but also…
- Chicken Wiggle
- Nine Parchments
Superbeat: Xonic is a rhythm game developed by Nurijoy, and originally released on PlayStation Vita. And it looks like it’s headed to the Nintendo Switch in the (near) future! Indeed, the game was recently rated by the ESRB in North America, where it received a Teen rating.
As usual, we will have a separate post for this game when it’s officially announced for the Nintendo Switch (it’s probably a matter of days, at worst weeks, until we get one). In the mean time, here’s what the rating description says about the game:
This is a rhythm-based game in which players match cues in a DJ-like setting. Players earn points by matching on-screen prompts to the beat of each song. Accompanying artwork/animation occasionally depicts characters with drops of blood on their faces. There are also depictions of female figures wearing low-cut clothing that reveals cleavage or the undersides of their breasts; characters’ breasts sometimes bounce during animated sequences. Song lyrics contain the word “sh*t.”
Thanks Javier for the heads up!
