Today’s Japanese news: some screenshots and gameplay footage for Etrian Odyssey V, but also a trailer for 3D PuyoPuyo 2!

Etrian Odyssey V

Today, 4Gamer.net shared some direct-feed gameplay footage for Etrian Odyssey V (from the final version). It shows the very beginning of the game, with the creation of the characters, a visit of the various facilities to be found in town, and of course, the exploration of the very first floor of the labyrinth.

Etrian Odyssey V (3DS) comes out on August 4th in Japan.

3D Puyo Puyo 2

Last week, we learned that 3D Puyo Puyo 2 (included in the second SEGA 3D Classics Collection in Japan, and the first one in North America and Europe) would be released as a stand-alone title in Japan on August 3rd (that’s tomorrow!). Today, SEGA uploaded a trailer for the game, that can be found… just below!

Unfortunately, we don’t know if SEGA has any plans for a stand-alone release in Europe and North America. Since pretty much all the other SEGA 3D Classics titles made it out of Japan, there’s no reason to doubt this one will not.

3D Puyo Puyo 2 (3DS eShop) comes out tomorrow in Japan!
