8Bit Music Power NEXT
8Bit Music Power is a mixtape featuring original 8bit music, released as an actual NES cartridge. Last week, at the BitSummit 4th, it was announced that a “sequel” would be released in 2017, called 8Bit Music Power NEXT. It will feature music composed by:
- ZUN (Touhou Project)
- Junya Nakano (Final Fantasy X)
- Norie Nakagata (Genpei Touma Den)
- Motoaki Furukawa (Snatcher)
- Manami Matsumae (Mega Man)

Honto
Honto is an e-book service that was available on Nintendo 3DS in Japan. Last week, on July 8th, the service was terminated, and the app removed from the Nintendo eShop. Users who previously downloaded the app can keep on purchasing books until September 28th (10AM JST). After that, users will be able to redownload any books purchased until March 29th 2017 (10AM JST). After that date, any books deleted will be lost forever!
