Fire Emblem Warriors: extended trailer, New Nintendo 3DS version announced

Last week, during the Nintendo Switch Presentation, Nintendo revealed Fire Emblem Warriors: the Fire Emblem x Warriors collaboration game that many fans had been waiting for. It will be released on the Nintendo Switch.

During the presentation, a short teaser trailer was shown, but it didn’t feature a single second of actual gameplay footage. But during yesterday’s Fire Emblem Direct, an extended version of the trailer was showcased, and this time around, it does feature some gameplay footage! We get to see Chrom slashing some soldiers, therefore becoming the very first character confirmed for Fire Emblem Warriors.

Here’s the extended trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors:

But that’s not all: during the Fire Emblem Direct, it was announced that Fire Emblem Warriors would also be released on New Nintendo 3DS. Since Hyrule Warriors Legends ran poorly on the OG Nintendo 3DS models, skipping those is most definitely a good decision from the developers.

By the way, it was also confirmed that the same team behind Hyrule Warriors (Legends) was working on this game. Will it be as good as that one? We will know this Fall, when it launches worldwide!

Fire Emblem Warriors (Switch, New 3DS) comes out this Autumn, worldwide. The Upcoming Releases page has been updated!
