Zelda: Breath of the Wild – TV Commercial (JP), footage, Nintendo eShop pre-paid card

Earlier this week, Nintendo announced that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would get some DLC: a first for a Zelda. It’s only available as part of a Expansion Pass, that costs 2 500 Yen in Japan. For players planning to get that DLC (or simply Zelda fans interested in buying games on the Nintendo eShop!), Nintendo is going to release a special Nintendo eShop pre-paid card in Japan.

This Nintendo eShop pre-paid card has a value of 3 000 Yen, which is enough to buy the DLC, and some extras. Naturally, it’s just a plain old pre-paid card, which means the funds can be used to buy anything available on the Nintendo eShop (including DLC for other games). It does feature a really neat artwork of Link and Zelda, though!

Here’s what the card looks like:

The list of retailers selling the card can be found on this page!

Next, here’s a Japanese commercial for the game, which is the same as the one uploaded by Nintendo France a few days ago… but without any voice over this time around (except at the very end):

Finally, if you want to see even more gameplay footage for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the latest episode of NyaNyaNya! Neko Mario Time features some in the first segment:

The other games showcased this episode are Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World, and some Nintendo eShop titles.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Wii U, Switch) comes out on March 3rd, worldwide.
