Xenoblade Chronicles X: a look at some of the creatures
Today, Monolith Software updated their official website for Xenoblade Chronicles X. One of the things they added was a gallery showcasing some of the monsters and creatures living on Mira. And now, thanks to Siliconera’s translations, we now have some additional details about them!
– Brass Femina Zeus: a creature that kind of looks like a boar, with a lump on its head. Apparently, males and females have a different look: the colour of the hair and the body isn’t the same.
– Stone Hippo: a rather fierce-looking creature, which has a sharp tusk beneath its jaws… but they’re actually quite gentle, and can be found near bodies of water.
– Wood Fontera: some giant herbivore creatures, with a height of over 6m. Just like giraffes, they use their long neck to eat leaves on the branches of trees.
– Everlast Milesauro: a giant creature that looks like a dinosaur. They may look really intimidating, but they’re actually quite peaceful and usually don’t attack humans.
– Lake Rutorl: some rather cute creatures that live near bodies of water. They share some characteristics with dogs and cats.
– Quick Strutt: bi-pedal creatures that look like ostriches. Even though they do have wings, they cannot fly. They live in groups, and eat insects from the ground.
– Junior Simius: they do look a lot like apes… except that they have 4 arms and 2 legs. They tend to travel in groups, and they can be seen alongside their parents (which are even bigger).
– Young Lups: carnivore creatures that goes hunting for preys. They attack humans on sight.
– Docile Ois: some cute herbivore creatures, with a puffy ball at the tip of their tails. Since they like to eat sprouts, they are often seen in areas with lots of greenery.
– Youth Vasalt: some insect-like creatures with 6 legs, and tend to use their front legs as sickles (in order to dig holes in the ground).
– Welkin Lukiora: some giant flying creatures, floating constantly around their territory. They’re usually pretty calm.
