PokéNews (Aug. 7, Round 2): Pokémon Duel / Pokémon GO / Pokkén Tournament DX
Today’s Pokémon news (Round 2!), with the major update for Pokémon Duel releasing tomorrow, but also…
- Pokémon GO
- Pokémon Tournament DX
Pokémon Duel
Several weeks after the very first teaser, the next major update for Pokémon Duel is finally ready. It will be released tomorrow, and will bring the game to Ver. 4.0.0. The main new feature is Mega Evolutions, which requires a special Plate of the Pokémon Mega Stone (so no separate figures for Méga Evolutions, then).
The maximum value for plate costs in battle has been increased from 6 to 8, most likely as a result of the addition of the Mega Stones plates. Finally, when you want to play Team Matches, you will be able to choose among three different teams: Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.
And as always, the update brings various balance changes for some of the figures: more details can be found in this post!
